I have used the Gentle Revolution and Dr. Titzer - Your Baby Can Read methods to teach my 13 month old son to read. He is doing GREAT! I think he can read about 100 words.

I have used the Gentle Revolution (Doman) method some for math, but I'm interested in something multi-sensory more like the Titzer method for math; something wtih DVDs, books, cards, etc. I also want something that will complement the Singaporean Math method that I plan to teach him as he understand more math.

Do you have any suggestions?

I haven't heard of a comprehensive program like that, although I did run across something called right brain learning. I haven't had a chance to figure out exactly what it is but it seems to involve some math.

Having been a Kindergarten teacher I know that math concepts are easy to teach in every day life. My almost 2 yr old is counting to 11 because we often count as we go up the stairs in our house. He knows most of his numberals 0-9 because my husband helps him read them on the score of his computer game after each level. Concepts like bigger, smaller, more, less, etc are all important and can be taught throughout the day. It would be a very simple thing to create cards with the word or numeral on it to "test" his understanding. You could wait until he can count and then teach addition or you could write up some addition problems and go over them each day to see if he will memorize them (much like the words in YBCR). I would be sure to use some sort of picture representation of the problem. You could use stickers or just draw stars or something.

Now that I write all that out it sounds like a lot of work! LOL But at least it would be a place to get started.
