Just wanted to check in and see how your summers are going. Did anyone try something new? Do anything exciting? I want to know the best things you've tried so far. Best parks, best kid-friendly resteraunts (spelling??), best campsites, you name it! Also, best sunscreens, bug repellants, etc... Share what you've learned this summer! :-)

Hi Synde! Wanted to share with you...everyone my family and I just recently one of the greatest weekend vacations! We went to Silver Mountain Lodge! In Kellogg Idaho! I don't know if you're familiar with the resort, but they have an indoor water park with something for everyone! I have posted in my facebook photos pictures of the resort and the fun that we had! As for the other stuff going on this summer, Camping spots: Sun Lakes is fun...there's the lake for boating,swimming, paddle boats, canoe's, fishing, you name it, there are spots for tents and or RV's...if you like camping in the Basin area of Washington...if you prefer a more woodsy atmosphere our favorit place is Tumwater Canyon Campground! It's the best! It's on HWY 2 just out of Leavenworth! For Sunscreen I like the coppertone aerosol for children 50 spf and for bug spray we like to use the DEET FREE Bull Frog Mosquito Coast with SPF 30 it repels up to 8 hours! For kid friendly restraunts our girls love The Rain Forest Cafe! We like to go to the one in the South Center Mall in Tukwila, WA. We generally make a weekend of it...we like to stay at the Embassy Suites there in Tukwila, the rooms are great, they have a free cook to order breakfast every morning and a free cocktail hour every night at 5 pm, and the Family Fun Center is just a couple of blocks up from the hotel, where they have go carts, mini golf, arcade, lazer tag...just a bunch of family fun stuff!! I hope that this give you some ideas as well as the other mother's who may read this!!
