I want to try my daughter with baby cookies because she loves to chew, but I don't want to feed her the cookies from the super market. I don't agree with some of their ingredients. has anybody had any success with making baby cookies at home? If so how did you make them?

So unfortunately I didn't find any specific baby cookie recipes, but there were a few suggestions and you can probably take it from there. It said [and this was for teething babies which I'm assuming is yours :)] "chewing or hard or cool foods will help relieve some of the teething pain in her gums. Offer her hard toast, hard crackers, cool juices, or cooled baby-safe spoons. Freeze a fat hard carrot and let her suck on it, but make sure no pieces will break off and that it is thick enough that it will not split and cause choking. With all frozen foods make sure that it is not too cold so it doesn't burn their tongue or mouth. Rinse cool water over the frozen object before giving it to the child to prevent burns." I suppose I wouldn't give my daughter something to chew on that has much sugar since she is just constantly chewing on it and it will affect her teeth. Hope this helps. And if you have never read SUPER BABY FOOD, you should! It's awesome!!! Good luck!

i was just thinking of the same thing. My daughter is 5 moths old and putting EVERYTHING in her mouth! I have this really great book, SUPER BABY FOOD by Ruth Yaron, which has everything you need to know about feeding and cooking for baby. Unfortunately I have not had time to look up baby cookies. I thinkI'll do it right now and post what I find!
