Earth Day ideas? 2.5 year old

I want to do something special for Earth Day with my son (2yrs 7months), but something simple just to get him involved. I don't expect him to understand too much but I would love to start a family tradition.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Plant a tree.

Have him "help" repot an indoor plant.

Visit the garden center and have him pick out one or two seed packets to plant in your garden.

Go for a walk in your neighborhood and pick up garbage/recycling.

Use found objects such as leaves, rocks, pine cones, etc. to make a craft project.

Skip stones in a lake or river.

Jump in mud puddles.

Color a nature picture together.

Wander around outside and look for signs of spring.

Enjoy Earth Day with your kiddo!!!
