in addition to all the other tips you may want to consider not bathing your child as frequently. I am not talking about going a whole week or anything unsanitary. If you are bathing every day try going every other day.

Hi lina, I so feel for you. I've had eczema all my life (41 years) and I'm managing it with my son who is now 5. I've tried everything (really!... 41 years is a lot of time in the dermatologist's office). And have found Eucerin and Aquaphor to be my best bets. Food elimination will probably help, too. Have you tried a nutritional approach? Thru the years, I've tried many things. However, it wasn't until 2 years ago when I discovered Reliv's nutritional supplements - developed by the same enfamil & isomil scientists over 20 years ago. So, we've been two years on this program and my son and I have seen the eczema clear up! Your body really is a miracle.. when you get good stuff in, you will get good stuff out! It's been an answer to prayer for us and a huge blessing! Happy to share more... check out: http://joyceyee.reliv.com.

Hugs to you!

My daughter has always battled with severe eczema until I switched everything in our home over to the Melaleuca's products. Now I wash all of her bedding and clothing in the laundry detergent that they have and I use all of there bath and skin care items. The (Renew)lotion that they have is the best.. it even cleared up the discolorations she had on her legs from the eczema. I wish I would of found it when she was a baby but at least now she doesn't have to go to school anymore with the itchy rashes. You can find the products for very reasonable prices too. If you want to check out where I get it from go to http://www.MomsWorkFromHomes.com You can get the products right there. I know how bad it is to have a child who suffers with this terrible problem.. I hope you get some relief soon... God bless.

We have found great results by using Vanicream bar soap and the Vanicream body lotion. It is die free and perfume free. If the skin is just dry, not raw, we use Jergens Ultra Healing!! But, it does have a light perfume that if the skin is raw, it can burn. Also, go down to the health food store and get some fish oil drops. It helps keep the skin moist.

It could be related to diet...try switching her off of dairy products as they can aggravate eczema. Also, make sure you're using a non-scented, gentle laundry detergent for your child.
