So, my 5 year old has terrible eczema every year seasonally. There is something in the air that just sets it off for months at a time. And I feel so bad! His little hands always look like they hurt so much, and you know they're really bad when he gasps when you put on lotion. We have tried everything, creams, lotions, not drying off after baths, essential oils, changing laundry detergent, no dryer sheets, etc... But we have found something that helps! Norwex is a company that makes a bunch of microfiber clothes (you can check all their stuff at norwex.com) and they make a body cloth. All you use with this cloth is water, and you wash yourself with it (just the cloth and water). The microfiber is antibacterial, so it cleans off the germs and kills them (even the ones that make your arm pit stink (seriously).). We started using this on my son, just wiping off his hands once in the morning and once at night. He's use soap on his hands all day and everything else is the same as usual. So I did this for a 1 1/2 days, and it started to clear up his eczema! By day 3 it was almost completely gone! I was super skeptical when I bought the cloth at a home party of a friend, but was so impressed! If you want to know how to get a cloth or more info, let me know. This was awsome, and my son now says "Mom, thank you for getting me a thing to wash me that doesn't make my hands hurt." That makes it totally worth it for me!
