My 3 yr old daughter has started wetting her pants again. Any suggestions?

I think she's just to busy but I don't know what to do. I really don't want to go back to the sucker every time she goes on the potty. It's not just occasional-like 5-7x a day!!! Shes been potty trained over a yr now. Is this normal? My boys never did this

i found the same thing with my son at 3 years old, he seemed to go backwards in the toileting department, he was just too busy to bother dtopping and going so i introduced a rewards chart and he had to get a certain amount of stars on it and he got to choose the reward...was trying to sterr away from lollies as rewards so there was a dvd, trip to the park, swimming, picnic etc. it seems to have worked as we very rarely have wet pants anymore and he thinks it is great being able to decide what the reward will be for the week.

Sometimes it is for attention, which like what was said positive attention is required, anything new, job, daycare, or just some thing simple, change of bedding, or a big thing, someone bothering her, I know it is not something you want to think about, but it can't hurt to ask. Better to ask then be sorry later.

Have there been any new changes? Talk to her and ask her if something's bothering her or if someone's bothering her. This could be de to many reasons but I can think of 2 prime ones. Either there is something troublig her, and she's stressed about that or, she's demanding more attention from you because she is somehow feeling insecure.

Talk to her a lot, lots of hugsand kisses, do not get upset if she wets her pants, and just make her feel secure. She'll stop.

Take care and God bless!
