You can try adding sugar free juice watered down. I found he would drink his water if it was in a bottle with a straw. Once he got used to the water I reduced the amount of juice till he has plain water. There are also baby juices suitable to 6mths + sugar free and already watered down in most supermarkets. I used to water it down further tho.

make ice cubes with food colouring or bits of fruit in them so that the water looks exciting! also drink bottles are great, my daughter has 2 that she chose and are always in the fridge where she can reach them with water in them.

This require a bit of pacients. It helps to give water with a teaspoon and kids think it is good fun. Good luck

Try adding 1 tbsp of Karo Syrup or 1 oz of juice to a 4oz bottle. As the child gets older put less sugar or juice until they are drinking plain water. I did it with all of my children and they all love to drink water.

I put a little juice in the water. One of my four children just flat out loves water, and he never has a problem wanting it! Go figure!

I used to add a little caro syrup to the water. I started weaning them off little by little and now they drink water with no problem.

I used to put just a little sugar in the water. Some will disagree though. But I would lower the amount little at a time and my boys are 10, 8, and 4 and now ask for ice water before anything else.
