Yes. It is natural to spend time wondering about the boys even though they are adult and independent.

We have a small business at home. This keeps us busy for part of the day. At nights I spend time with my poetry writing, poetry group on facebook and poetry blog. However, I still miss my two adult boys who have left home now. One cannot help wondering if they are doing the correct things at all times. I wish that my last son will call more often bthe values his independence and is trying to wean us away from him.

I knew that I needed a hobby when I was getting my daughter ready to go to college. I have been walking 5K's for charity over the summer. I started in May and will have done one a month through November. In my area there is one ever weekend. This gets me out of the house walking to train for the next one and I get the exercise I need. Plus, I only walk for charity so I am helping a good cause while helping myself. I would like to volunteer over the winter at a local children's hospital. This way I can give back and my children can see me giving back and be proud of me.

I work full-time (well, I always have), but now I'm going back to school to finish my degree!! I also knit, bead and cross-stitch as well as motorcycle ride with my husband in his motorcycle club!

I help out in our Church Kitchen when ever there is a funeral, I also cook once every 3 weeks for our Wednesday Meal before the Evening Activities and Pray Meeting. When the Youth need help cooking a meal as a fund raiser I also help then.
