Epilepsy signs in children

Has anyone who has had Epilepsy them selves every passed it on to their children? I have my Neuro watching my son very closely in fact she is mananging my case & helping learn for new signs from my son. I was told that there is a chance he could have it. I really hope he beats that chance because Epilepsy is not fun & with the road I have had with it I sure hope that my kids don't travel down that same road.

Anyone have a child just starting out? What signs could I watch for?

I hope your child can also beat having epilepsy. I've had it over 35 years
and have a 17 month old son. I've been wondering from day one if
he will ever get it.
It's tough becoming a mother and also hoping your child stays
healthy. I've gone through surgeries and still haven't got completely
rid of my seizures. I love to talk about it since I've had so much experience
wih meds.
How old were you and are you still on a lot of meds?
