Milk supply tips.

My boyfriend and I decided to Exclusivly pump, its what I wanted but he wanted to wait till my supply was up..
My problem is. I pump every 2 hours, and get 2-2.5 ounces but that isnt each breast thats in total.... my son eats every 3 and eats about 5-6 ounces... as you can see this give me zero chance to get ahead to even have like 3 bottles extra or freeze some, we basically go bottle to bottle, I dont want to have to give him alot of formula.. The very first time i pumped i got 4 ounces in total.
i pump every 3 hours at night and get 3 ounces in total, should i switch my pumping to every 1.5 hours, and set the speed higher, i remember in the hospital they told me to pump on medium. I want this to work atleast till hes 6 months old... but I dont know if I can. I dont really enjoy breastfeeding. but if i need to go back in order to avoid formula I will.
any tips?

I use Mothers milk tea and that helps me. I also try to make sure I pump when my son eats that way I stay stocked up on milk.

I have problems with my milk supply as well. I pump every 3 hours for 15-20 minutes for our little girl who is almost 9 months old now. I have been EPing since she was born due to her having a cleft palate and not being able to suck. In the beginning I was getting SO much milk and she refused to drink any that I had frozen, now I only get 3oz total every time I pump. But this is enough for me because I give her 3oz of my milk mixed with 3oz of formula (I do formula because she has a really hard time putting on weight). Things that help get your milk supply up is

Mothers milk tea
Blessed thistle tea
Oatmeal

Those are the things that had helped either me or friends of mine. Hope it works for you as well.
