it's helpful to get the help of your husband or someone else besides yourself during feedings. if you're around, they'll most likely want to breastfeed rather than bottle feed. using a nipple that's soft like the ones made of rubber or the tommee tippee ones that are flexible might help, too. sometimes it's easier to get them to feed when they are groggy from sleep like as soon as they wake up or even during a midnight feeding.
