My son just started puffs and loves them. He is mashing them with his jaw and seems ready for some pieces of food. So far we have given him teeny tiny pieces of pineapple and melon. He is doing great and opens his mouth for more.
Thinking next butternut squash and sweet potato next (pencil eraser size pieces). I also decided to try a stage 3 food today. Any other ideas for nutritious 1st table foods?

My doctor recommended cooked carrots, any types of crackers, peas that are soft, bannana, even apples they can gum with no skins.

Hi my son loves pasta with sauces (tomato and galic, spinach and basil pesto, cheese, bolognese) and they are really filling for him. Also he loves sandwiches with jam or cheese spreads - I cut them into strips and he picks them up and eats them. He also loves all fruits and veg mixed with gravy and a meat/ poultry. I'm trying to give my son foods we eat so eventually we don't have to make 2 different meals.
