I gave my daughter bananas ( from a jar) for the first time yesterday and again today. Each poop since yesterday has been blueish grey in colour. Has this happened with anyone else? Is it normal???

Thanks!

I recently introduced Bananas to my son (5 months) He didn't like them......but when we started on peas, carrots, and squash there was a very noticeable change in "poop" color. It's totally normal. I would only be concerned if it never goes back to a normal color. Just keep an eye on it.

I breastfeed and cannot eat bananas...AT ALL cuz it huts my little guys tummy. Tried a spoonful of bananas the other day as a solid for him...and YUCKY face. As far as his poops....yes that is common.

I'm finding that the bananas and sweet potatoes are binding my son. Is anyone else experiencing that?

His BMs are formed, but not hard.

Not sure about the colour, but I gave my little one bananas and it backed her right up! I think they are quite hard to process for the little ones. I'm not going to try them again for a few months. :)
