I think you should check out both a Montessori and a Daycare and make an informed decision. You can see for yourself and get a feel for which your child would be most suited too. Not all Montessori's or Daycares are the same. I work in a Montessori Pre School and I love it. They are peaceful, calm, orderly and respectful. A great learning environment where children learn to take responsibility for themselves, others, things and nature. For me it is an environment where children learn how to learn.
