What's the best way to get rid of cradle cap? I tried oil on her scalp about 30 minutes before her bath but I think that made it worse?!

I had used Olive oil on Masons head, he has an awful lot of hair and did make him look greasy for a day but if its going to benefit them & make it better I say do it! :) plus Olive oil is a natural substance and wont cause any harm or upset to your babies skin :) xx

I used Olive oil while in the tub. I put a couple big drops on and really scrubbed it in with a terricloth washcloth and my fingers. It looked like it was making it worse but it didn't. Then at the end of his bath I washed it out really good with baby shampoo. I wasn't sure if it worked but the next day you couldn't even tell he had it.

I brushed my son's hair and now he is losing it. My advice: Don't do anything. I know it doesn't look good. But regarless of what you do, you aren't going to like the results

I rubbed olive oil onto Kait's head, let it sit for a few minutes and then brushed it for a long time with a baby brush. Then I shampooed her hair (leaving the oil in can make it worse!). I only had to do it once, but the woman who recommended it to me did it once a week or so.

what i use is a soft baby brush and soft brush her hair prior to her bath in a circle motion very softly then i while shampooing her hair i again use baby brush in circle like motion it helps note that it will not come off all at one time!!

lol i just asked the same question...i saw somewhere that after you let the oil sit for about 15 minutes and they are in the bath to use a soft head toothbrush to gently scrub the area, I am going to try it next time!
