diaper size??

[deleted account] ( 43 moms have responded )

My daughter is 7 and a half months old. I am wondering what size diapers every ones baby is wearing?

My daughter is 19 lbs. 32 inches tall. She wears a size 4 Pampers. The size 3 are not long enough to go around her and the size 4 are big in the waist, but long enough to go around front to back.

I am a little worried because my daughter is already in size 4s (I assume she will be in them for a long time) don't diapers only go up to size 6??

Hi there! Have you tried Huggies size 3 instead? They fit a little differently so that might help. Because weight wise I think she'd still be in the size 3 range at 19 lbs. With my daughter I tend to use Pampers first and when they start to get a little small I switch to Huggies for a bit before going up to the next size of Pampers. I hope that makes sense.. Good luck!

My 8 mo old is in a size 4 now. I really like the huggies little movers. I also have tried the luvs which are ok. Our problem is that usually by morning he has soaked through. I put him in huggies for bed and its not as bad, maybe 3 times a week instead of every morning.

my girl is on a size 3 but I am picky about the diaper...Pampers Cruisers and Huggies Little Movers are the best for fitting the belly and thighs and all without leaking BUT for overnight sometimes she would still leak out so instead of changing her in the middle of the night we put a Huggie Overnight on her and they are awesome.

my son was born oct 25th, he is wearing size 4 aswell (cloth mainly but pampers when getting babysat). I never checked what size diapers go up to but I think he will stop growing around soon as he starts moving so this size should fit him longer!

My son is 8 months 2 weeks old and weighs approx 22 lbs but it long too...he's in a Pampers size 5, he was peeing/pooping out of the size 4's.

Sorry for the TMI!

My daughter is 7 1/2 months and she is in a size 3 diaper and the funny thing is that the off brand diaper I buy on base is actually perfect for her and are better than the luvs, huggies, or pampers. Huggies are not at the top of our list for diapers and I started buying some different pampers. I was always told to go off of the weight but my daughter's size 3 look huge on her also but are long enough to go from the front to back.

Chessa was born October 7th, and is currently wearing Huggies size 3's during the day, and Huggies overnights size 4's at night. At her last Dr appointment, she weighed in at 20lbs and 27in long.

My daughter is 17lbs and she wears and size 3 in huggies, at first i didnt like the huggies because she kept peeing and pooping through them, but there are different types of huggies, there's little snugglers, snug and dry, and then there's Little Movers, if you try huggies i suggest you try the Little Movers so far they are the best ones.

Rose is 7.5 months and in Pampers 2's. Her friend is 3 days older and is in size 5's. I think height makes a big difference in size.

I switched to Huggies for that Reason! Especially since Jake was wetting himself in the middle of the night (2-3am wetting)

He's long too, and the huggies are a little longer which is nice.

My son is wearing size 3 huggies. I think pampers are terrible because they put perfume right into there diapers so both my sons got terrible rashes from them. So maybe just try a different brand of diaper and that might help .

I Have 2 kiddos and I put on the size of diaper that contains the poopie messes. Simple as that.
My daughter is 2, 28 lbs, a tall skinny kid, with a sensitive heinie, so I put her in size 6 Pampers. The mess is contained in the "pocket" at the bottom of the diaper and it keeps the moisture from touching her skin, preventing diaper rash. If you ask anyone who knows me, I change her regularly, she's just sensitive. I have to use 40% zinc oxide on her.
My son is 7 mos, 20 lbs, and I put him in size 4 Huggies. He's much less sensitive than my daughter. Size 3s (Pampers or Huggies) just weren't containing the messy poops, so I moved him up.
It makes financial sense to stay in the smaller size as you get more in the box, but you have to be willing to clean up any "overflow" that might happen. It's worth it to me to pay a little more than to clean it up. Good luck!

Michael is in Size 3 Pampers - at 7 months one week. He's 17 lbs and 27 inches long, but with a very narrow waist. I find the Baby Dry model a bit better, smaller fit but sometimes he wears the Cruisers as well.

We just started in size 4 pampers cruisers even though Luc only weighs about 17 lbs. He pees through the other ones at night (when he actually sleeps through the night).

Boden will be 8 months on the 7th of June and he's in a size 3 in Luvs. I've found that Pampers don't hold up near as well and he pees right through them! I didn't really like Huggies either cuz it seems like the softer the diaper, the easier it leaks! Luvs run a bit bigger than the other brands and they are kind of big on his waist but he doesn't leak through near as quick!

My son is 19lbs too and he is in size 3 luvs!!! He just turned 7 months. But I love luvs, they are thin, absorbent, and just a perfect fit, plus they are one of the cheaper brands. But I wouldn't be too worried all three of my nieces and nephew never made it to size 6 and they were about the same size!!

My daughter is almost 8 months old, weighs 21 pounds and she has been is size 4 pampers for a couple weeks now. I find the size 3 are too small and when she has a poop it doesn't seem to stay in so I moved her up a size. I have tried huggies and I find they are just a mess..she pees through them, poops through them and I find they run really small. I find the pampers hold up really well tho!
