My daughter is now 6 months old and she is still really tipsy when she sits I was just wondering if anyone elses baby was doing the same? This is my 3rd child but my other 2 children are 9 and 6 so it has been a while and I cant remember what age they should be doing things.

My baby is 6 months and is still not even looking like sitting on her own yet but has started crawling. She will get there in her own time don't stress.

My daughter turned 6mo on the 14th April. is isnt sitting up on her own yet. Kaley is a placid type of personality, taking things slow and observes others more alot. I encourage her with sit up play in my lap with some toys, it help strengthen her core/back muscles. She'll get there, i'm in no hurry for her shifting around too much, there only babies once. Lets enjoy each stage they go through, I personally know babies that teeth @ 13mo, & others that teethed @ 3mo...EVERY BABY IS DIFFERENT, lets enjoy our own for who they are! :- D

my daughter was born oct 10th and can sit by herself no problem, she has been doing this since just under 5 months. She can not pull herself into a sitting position if she falls down though, so I have to help her up and then I can leave her in the playpen with toys, do the dishes and come back and she is still sitting.

every baby is different, please remember that.

My son was born October 17 and he will not sit up by himself. Everytime I sit with him in the floor to help him he falls straight forward. This is also my 3rd child and the older ones are 12 and 7 and I also have a hard time remembering when they do things.

Antwan was born Oct 3rd, 2009 and still isn't sitting on his own yet. As soon as you let him go, he reaches for his feet and tips over. He is already trying to crawl though. He spends TONS of time up on his belly trying to get going, he's almost there. Now Im waiting to see what comes first, sitting or crawling.
His sister is a year older and she was sitting on her own by 6 months and crawling by 8.

My baby has been able to sit for a very long period of time for about a month and a half now. He now pulls himself up and stands on his own! I couldn't believe it when he did it! He will be walking I'd say very soon! :D
