How many bottles? How many solid meals?

My big 9kg 8 month old has cut back her food. Im not overly concerned as she is not going to fade away or anything. She has about 2-3 bottles a day and 2 solid "meals".

She wont eat any solids for breakfast and has one 240ml (8oz) bottle on waking in the morning.

She sometimes but very rarely has another bottle at her sleep at 11am then a jar of custard when she wakes around 1pm.

She then has some vegies at about 5pm and a bottle before bed at 6.30-7pm.

Is this the norm? She doesnt seem to have as many wet nappies as before but wont drink anything else. She is also a VERY active baby so would be burning a lot of energy.

I saw a child health nurse and she wasnt concerned and pussed for me to drop the morning bottle and offer solids instead. Im not sure I want to do that as it will cut her back to around 1 bottle a day which I dont think is enough fluids when she wont drink water or juice through the day.

My LO breastfeeds most of the time, but when I work she takes in 3 bottles with 2.5 oz. She also drinks about 1-2 oz of water each day. For solids, she eats about a tablespoon at dinner.

My son is almost 9 months and drinks 3 bottles (4 oz each as that's all he'll drink at one time) each day and has 3 meals and then also snacks. 1 bottle first thing in the morning, breakfast of cereal or toast & fruit after his morning nap, lunch which is some veggie, some fruit and either a different fruit or a baby dessert, a bottle in the afternoon, a snack of the Gerber Graduates snacks for crawlers or a graham cracker, dinner of veggie, fruit and dessert and then a bottle after his bath. I wouldn't worry too much if she's gaining weight and the nurse isn't concerned :-) My son likes drinking water from a bottle (bottled water, not his baby bottle) so you might give that a try and see if she likes it :-)
