Addisyn was born on October 16th and she weighed 5 pounds. She had a rough start and for the first month and a half she had a hard time gaining weight, but now at almost 8 months she weighs 14 pounds 6 ounces and is almost 27 inches long.

My daughter Sophie was 6lbs 11oz at birth and at 7 1/2 months she was 19lbs. but at 6 1/2 months she was 16.5 lbs. She had a huge growth spurt. :)

My son was born at 37 weeks 5 days, October 27 (now 7 months old). At his 6 month check up, he as 16 lbs 3 oz, 26 1/4". He was right in the middle for percentages. His cousin that is exactly 3 months younger than him just went in for his 4 month check up and was 16lbs and 26"! He is gonna be a big kid, although he doesn't look chunky, he won't be getting many hand-me-downs and may end up being the other way around!

Aubrie was 5lbs 10 3/4oz and 18 inches when she was born, and at her appointment yesterday she was 18lbs 15oz and 27 1/4 inches!! She is definately growning like a bad weed!! Caught up to the heavier babies born the same time she was pretty quick!! She even ways more than most of them now!!

My little boy Ethan was born at 37 weeks on 12th October weighing 5lb 6 1/2 oz. He was weighed at the Paediatricians today and weighed 15lb 12oz. His weight gain has now slowed a little as he is on 3 solid meals a day (homemade yummies) and we have reduced his milk intake (at his hungriest he was drinking 8x 9oz bottles a day).

Boden was born at 41 weeks and weighed 9lb 4oz! At his 6 month check-up, he was 17lb 6oz. He lost over a pound the day after he was born and had trouble gaining it back, which resulted in many doctors visits for weight checks the first few months! Now he will eat pretty much anything you put in his mouth!

little man was born October 20 9lbs 8oz an hes 17lbs at 6 months! 50 percentile for his weight and 75 percentile for his height. He's tall and lanky like his father lol he gets a bowl of cereal in the morning usually 8-12 oz of formula during the day 1 jar of food at lunch and 1 and a half - 2 jars of baby food at night! just seems to burn it right off

at birth my daughter was 7lbs 9ozs and now at 7 months old she is 17lbs 4ozs. she is trying to crawl and be more active and her weight gain has really slowed down. once she gets going she prob wont lose weight just not really gain much for a while. thats at least what our dr. told me about my daughter

hi just reply to your comment...well my baby girl is 26lb and shes 61/2months old. Ive been told by my plunket nurse that she is as heavy as a 1yr if not more which is true because i have a nephew who is 14months and is a little heavier then my daughter but not by much which is alil scary but i feed her normally and shes healthy so like what you said maybe once they start crawling maybe the pounds will start coming off...

WOW.....reading everyones responses makes me think my little girl is a porker......she was 7lbs 6oz at birth and now at 7 months she is 22lbs 3oz...which is over the 98th percentile....and she is 70cms long which is over the 98th percentile too......but she doesn't look chubby....i think because of her height she pulls it off.....although she does have her mummies thighs the poor little thing

My son was born at 31 weeks 2 days weighing 3lbs 14oz. Now at almost 7 monhts he weighs a nice 16lbs 5oz. He's just under the 25% for weight. But he's happy and healthy.

Lesley, I don't think it's a good idea to enrich your breastmilk with anything, especially not formula which is highly allergenic. A knowledgeable lactation consultant would tell you this. At this point, if you're really concerned, I would just nurse her more often, making sure she's getting a good latch each time. She sounds like she's doing fine, just on the small side. Those charts are for formula fed babies, who are often over fed. See

my son weighed only 14lbs. 3oz. on his 6 month check up...he's very tiny, but was only 6lbs. 11 oz. He eats all of the time though, so I am not worried.
