Erika was born Oct 24. Eats about 6 oz about 5-6 times a day. On solids gets about 3 jars of 1st foods a day. Sleeps from 8pm to 7am. 1 nap during the day about an hour or so. Weighs 13.3 but has GERD which makes her about 7 lbs underweight. She at the max that she can eat a day.

my kay was born oct 27 and she drinks 6.5oz every 3 hours on the dot. i'm starting her on cereal next week. she weighs 17.4lbs as of feb 24.

My son Ayaan was born on the 5th of Oct. I can count the nights he slept through or for 3 hours straight on my fingers. He wants to nurse every time he wakes up even if that was just minutes ago. At 3 months I started rice cereal cuz I heard that will help him sleep through but that only worsened the problem. He started getting up evry 45 min to 1 hour. Every one here tells me that its becuz he is hungry. So last week I started 4-5 oz formula bottle to be sure how much goes in his tummy. He finishes his bottle and most of the time falls asleep towards the end. Then as soon as the bottle finishes he aims towards my breast with his mouth open and eyes closed. Then he sleeps after a few minutes of nursing after which I put him in his cot. On a good day he will sleep for an hour and a half to 2 hours. All other days he wakes up again to nurse anytime from 5-15 min to 30-45 min. I havent had any quality sleep since a very long time, even long before his birth. But otherwise he is a very happy and friendly child squealing in delight at the sight of anybody and everybody.

My son was born on Oct 12th and has 210mls 5 times a day. He usually sleeps from 10pm until 7.30 am. He weighed 16lb 8oz two weeks ago.

my daughter is drinking anywhere from 140mls to 160mls. i thought i was feeding her too much but the doctor said its perfectly normal! she'll be 4 months old on feb 28th!

my baby girl, has 150ml X9, she was 10 pounds born 28 october 2009. She goes to bed at approx 8 sleeps til approx 5 next day. She has about 3 naps a day, her tird at about 330 is for about 1-2 hours the earlier ones are for about 30 mins to 45 mins. She is a big girl, im very interested in what she ways next week when we go for he 4 mth check up with the maternal health nurse. Oh and she is in size 0 going into 1's. All babies are different!!!

My son was also born on the 2nd he was 17lbs 1 oz on the first of feb he eats 4 oz every 2 1/2 hours but he also gets three meals a day now to he eats rice cereal and fruit at 7:30 am he has veggies and fruits at 2 and then at 6:30 he has veggies and cereal I had him weighed again and he was 18 lbs 2 oz just yesterday!

My daughter was born Oct 27th and drinks 6oz of formula 5-6 times a day. I breastfed for the first two months but she wasn't gaining weight at all so I had to switch. She is still a little peanut but is definitely filling out now.

My daughter was born October 26th she drinks any where between 4-8 oz every 2-3 hours. She also eating pureed vegs at lunch and dinner. She doesn't like cereal but I am going to try mixing applesauce with it for her in the mornings.

My little girl was born on 6th Oct and is now on 210mL four times a day. She also has Weetbix with pureed fruit in the morning and pureed fruit or veg at night. She sleeps through from about 8pm-8am. And is one very UNhappy bub this afternoon as she just had her 4m/o needles :(

Well my daughter was born on the 8th of October and she is on baby food by doctors orders and drinks 240 ml a day of formula. Right now she has 3 table spoons of pablum at breakfast a jar 6 - 7 hours later then a jar 6 - 7 hours later for dinner and her formula in between. But the doc said she's an advanced baby, she's 19.5 pounds.

My little girl was born October 26th and she eats 4-6 ounces each feeding (120-180 mls) every 3-4 hours. SHe sleeps most of the night with usually one waking to feed. Her weight is good and she seems content. When she is going to have a growth spurt though she will increase her food to 7 ounces every feed.

nope he is in his own room now has been since he was about 2 months. It may also that we tried to put in him on a routine and we wanted the last feeding at 10pm and since than he has only been going the 3-4 hours! I dont know will just have to wait it out and see how he does

Alison- It shouldn't take him until he's a year to get back into sleeping at night, they say that around 6mths is the average of when most babies start sleeping through the night. Does he still sleep in your room or is he in his own room? My 4mth old is in his own room and sleeps better in there than he did in our room. That could be a factor also, because he knows that you are in there with him and that when he wakes up you're right there as soon as he starts to cry.

My boy was exclusivly breast fed for 5 weeks, then transferred to SMA, at 9 weeks he started hungrier baby and at 12, baby rice - which was the end of the breast, i just wasnt making enough. He now takes over 30 oz's in a 24 hour period and two bowls of rice because he is just SO hungry! he lost an oz in the last week since we started the extra bowl of rice and i dont know what to think!

My son was born on October 5th, he eats 4-6oz every 2-4 hours and has rice cereal at night. His doctor says that that is exactly where he should be:) and he is a 14 and a half lbs

Lindsay-- thanks for the advice.. I tend to worry alot about his sleep and eatting patterns because I am a first time mom. I am only worried because he did sleep through the night at about a month and a half. he would sleep about 5-7 hours. so he would wake up once through the night.
Right now he is eatting at 930-10pm and than wakes again at 1am and again at 4am.
through the day he is going alot closer to 4 hrs than he is at night.
thanks for the help. hopefully it doesnt take a year to sleep through the night haha.

My son was born Oct 19 7lbs 15 oz. He eats about 40 oz in 24 hours. He takes anywhere from 6-8 oz ever 2-4 hours during the day. He sleeps from about 10 pm until 830am every night. Now he is probably about 17lbs and 26 inches.

Alison, All babies are different. Some start sleeping through the night at only weeks old and we had a friend whose son still wasn't sleeping through the night at almost a year old! There really isn't a whole lot that you can do to make him sleep through the night. Do you swaddle him at night? That helps with my son a lot! Some women put cereal in their babies bottles, I don't do it and I don't recommend that you do it, but sometimes it does help them sleep longer stretches at night because the cereal makes them fuller. There is a night time formula by Enfamil called Restful Night or something along those lines that you may also try. My 20mth old wasnt sleeping through the night until 6/7 months old and then even after that he would get up every once in a while in the middle of the night. It really just depends on when he decides when hes ready to sleep through the night.

HIya my little man was born on the 23rd oct, he has 8oz every 3-4 hours, he has 5 bottles a day. He has a warm bath and bottle at 8 and sleep though the night.

My son was born on Oct 19th he is eatting 6.5oz and 7 feds in a 24 hr period. He is still not sleeping through the night. he eats every 3-4 hrs.. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get him to sleep through the night.
He is just barely getting the 6.5 oz into him but still only going 3 hrs 4 tops

Paige, some babies are like that! My oldest son was eating 6ozs every 2hrs at 2 months old! He had doubled his birth weight in only 2 months and almost tripled it in 4! If she is hungry then just let her eat, she may just have a fast metabolism. Try feeding her cereal or a different kind of baby food through out the day, get her on a breakfast lunch and dinner type of schedule, that might get her to go longer between feedings.

My son eats 5-7ozs every 3-4 hours! He will sleep from about 8-9PM until anywhere from 6-9AM. He will occasionally get up once in the middle of the night to eat but most night he will sleep straight through! He was born 10/5 and weighed 7.2 and he's now 16lbs! He's eating and growing like he should be so I have no complaints!

My 3 month old eats 4 ounces of formula every hour and half to 2 hours. Breastmilk lasts only an hour to an hour and a half. But he does sleep through the night without waking up to eat, and if he naps he will go 4 hours without eating.

I say feed them when they are hungry. They will let you know. And if they don't want it they will let you know that too!

My little girl was born on October 7 at 6 lbs 11 oz...... She is eating around 4 - 4.5 oz every 3-4 hours so between 5-6 feedings a day.. but she is also eating baby food... She sleeps from around 9:45 pm to 5-6 am.... I can't really complain considering she has slept through the night pretty much since she was born!

my son was born on the 9th of october and is breastfed. but from the sounds of it our daughter is doing very well. i had to bottle feed my second daugher from 7 weeks old cause she was projectile vomitting after every single feed. and i'm pretty sure from what i remember she was feeding bout the same at that age.

My daughter Madalyn was born October 3rd, she is now 4 months old and eats anywhere from 24 to 27 oz in a 24 time frame. So about 4 6oz bottles a day and we just started giving her cereal in her night time bottle.

I know!! But what can I do, if she is hungry, I'm gonna feed her!! I try giving her a bit more like 8 oz a feeding so she will go longer without eating but she wont take it!

Everyone's babies seem to be born in October! hehe

My daughter was born October 1st, and she eats 7oz every 2 hours! She is a little chubber :) She was born 7lbs 10oz and 19 1/4 inches..She sleeps from about 830pm-930pm until 730am-830am! Has been doing this for about 2 months now! We get to find out how much she weighs at her 4 month old check up on February 16th!

At her 2 month check up she weighed 13 pounds and was 23 inches long!

Kadie was born on October 11th and she eats 5-6 oz every 4 hours or so..she weighed 7 lb 11 ozs when she was born and she was weighed today at 13 lbs and 9 oz

My little girl eats 180mls about 5 times a day. Plus we started her on solids (2 step 1 jars) and cereal at night. She eats a ton. She even still wakes up at night to eat. Except last night she slept for 9.5 hours, It was amazing!

my liitle guy eats way more.

He was born oct 31st and has 6 feeds during the day (3hourly), 5 x 210ml, 1 x 180ml. I think he was a fast metabolism as he weighs about 13lb 5oz and has always eaten more.

I had my son to the pediatrician at 2 months old and he told me Brody should be eating 25-35 oz. per day. And Brody is now 3 months old, he pretty much seems to eat the same amount 4-6 oz every 3-4 hours.
