my daughter kailyn is 7 weeks and will eat anywhere from 4-6 oz, sometimes less sometimes more. so i usually make her a 4 or 6 oz bottle so im not wasting formula.

My son is 5 weeks old and is eating 5 oz every 3 to 4 hours. Every once in a while he will go about 6 hours between feeding but it seems random for now.

My son is 8 weeks old and only drink not even 4 ounces every 3 hours. Sometimes he will only have a snack and drink only 2- mainly in the afternoon. He will have his last night feeding at 8 or 9:00pm and will usually sleep until 4:00am.

i guess everyone is different but my girl is 6 weeks now and she drinks sometimes 4 oz at a time or 2 oz then has a nap for an hour or 2 then takes another 4 oz. are you feeding formula or breast milk? im pumping my milk cause she wouldnt latch on and i dont seem to produce enough, about an oz an hour sometimes less so i supplement her with soy formula. she seems to fill up more on the formula than breast milk. So i guess as long as your baby is happy then your doing the right thing lol! Im a first time mom so thats just my expereince so far! good luck!

hi, thats a question i want to know too, my wee boy seems to feed all the time. i breast feed him and give him a bottle of aptimil formula at alternate feeds, when i make up a bottle i do 4 ounces but he may only drink about 2 at that time then over an hour or so he might have another ounce then a wee while later he will spit out the formula if u try to give him it and he wants the boob instead. there is no sort of pattern with his feeds so its hard to know how much he is really getting. sorry to not give u the answer you want. x
