Im due yesterday but no sign of labor yet, I walked to death but still no strong and constant contractions. What is mucus plug? I dont have any browny (red or pink) discharge. Does it mean that I havent lost my mucus plug and that I am not dilated? does it Mean that I am not ready to give birth yet?

i'm 8days over-due and just starting to lose my mucus plug. it's been falling out all day and its kind of gross. when your body is ready the contractions will start and so will the dialating process...hope this helps.

Your mucus plug is a plug that fills and seals the cervical canal during pregnancy.It is formed by a small amount of cervical mucus.The plug may come out as a plug,lump, or simply as increased vaginal discharge over several days.The mucus may be tinged with brown,pink,red blood, which is why it is sometimes referred to as "bloody show".loss of the mucus plug by no means implies that delivery or labor is imminent.

I lost my mucus plug then my water broke right away..Some people can loose it weeks before and some loose it then go into labor..Your doctor should induce you within the next couple of days i believe if you were due yesterday..Congrats and good luck!

It's the plug that is holding your water and your child in, if your water breaks its because you lost it. if you loose any you'll know it it's discusting and looks like well snot!
