Last night I noticed my baby drooling alot more then normal and fussy all day not taking naps at all and I kept thinking she was hungry but when I would try to feed her when she wasn't hungry she would refuse. My fiance stuck his finger in her mouth and she was chewing on it like crazy, he said he felt a tooth coming out. I've heard of babies getting teeth even at birth but I don't know what to do, I feel so bad for her and I think shes probably too young for baby oragel.

my little guy just turned 2 months the other day and has started drooling and blowing bubbles and chewing on his hands. He's not a big fan of his pacifier but loves my finger. Interested in the clove oil, thanks for sharing that!

ours are not breaking through yet, but the drool picked up last week. I know with my daughter the best thing i found i came across by chance was clove oil gel to use when we needed numbing and she still chewed and they came through just fine. Hope i can find the same this time around!

my little man in the last week or so has started chewing his fist and drooling alot. he is 11 weeks old and i would say that he is starting to teeth already and if he is i'm not looking forward to the teeth as i am breastfeeding and know only to well how hard bubby's can bite while feeding as i have 3 daughters. your best bet is teething toys especially those ones you can put in the fridge. i have tried the gels with all three of my girls and had little success. so yea things they can chew on are probably the best way to go. and if they seem to be really suffering a little baby panadol never hurts but wouldn't use that constantly.

My baby is... Sigh. She's 10 weeks old and has been for a few weeks. We got her some teethers and she has a receiving blanket she loves to suck/chew on.

My girl just hit 2months today.. So it's really possible to be teething now? She seems to suddenly drool all over the place now.. She used to be SO clean, even when drinking her milk.. She can't sleep through her naps now and constantly needs carrying or a pacifier to go to sleep.. Are these signs of teething? Is it a MUST to bring her to PD for it? Can I just let her be?

Hi I know with my first this happened for ages, teething is a horrible long drawn out process for some and I'm noticing it now with my second but unfortunately it doesnt mean the teeth are coming through now!!!

Thank you for the comments its very reassuring to know that my baby isn't the only one I gave her baby tylenol a couple times but it seems like this happens every now and then. I really appreciate the input, I dread when her teeth really start coming in.

My baby is going through the same thing!
Im not using oragel cause i heard it can cause it to take longer cause it numbs the skin and then they dont chew as much to make the teeth break through. Im glad to hear other people are in the same situation

I am pretty sure mine is. She is drooling a lot, constantly needs something in her mouth to either suck on or chew on, and shes really fussy. I havent felt anything break through yet though. im going to ask her pedi at her next appt

My baby is 2 months and teething. Sometimes to sooth her, we let her chew on our finger or a pacifier. I also rub a warm cloth on her gums. I have talked to my pediatritian and she said it was ok to use baby oragel but sparingly. Sometimes even those things don't really work and I just have to let her cry it out. G
