My son was born on October 24th, and he can sit up assisted, and roll over from his belly to his back. I know its too soon already for him to be rolling over from his back to his belly, but around what age does that happen?

It really just depends on their muscle tone at this point. My son moved around SOO much in my stomach that my doctor assumed he would be able to hold his head up early, etc, etc. && really he's been able to hold up his head since he was born. Very satisfying to see these things since he beat me up basically ALL day long. hahaha. :]

wow. My son was born October 24th, too and he can't completely roll over yet, most of the time. I probably should let him have more tummy time, but he just tries so hard to roll and he gets frustrated if he can't. He loves sitting and standing, though, as long as we hold on. He could sit by himself if he could balance. lol. I think they all really develop at their own pace.

My son was born on October 20th && he's been rolling over onto his stomach for about two weeks now. Some babies just have really good muscle tone. :]

Laaibah was born on 13th Oct; she loves sitting (ofcourse with some assistance). She pushes with her heels to move forward , while lying down she moves diagonally but she still hasn't rolled over

my daughter was born 10/10. she's been rolling for a good 3 weeks now, but shes not sitting up... its all relative. When it happens though something just clicks, and once they do it once theyll do it all the time :)

My little girl was born oct 24th and has just started rolling from back to belly, hates sitting but loves standing with us holding her hands. She's forever 'walking" by moving her feet in spurts of steps. And boy can she baby talk!

My daughter was born the 22nd of Oct and hasn't rolled either way. She was getting up on her side a few weeks ago but now has no interest in rolling at all.

My little guy started to roll belly to back about 6 weeks ago (he was born on the 6th) and now the minute we put him on his tummy he flips over. He hasn't done back to belly yet. He's getting the hang of sitting up, but he LOVES to stand up- holding himself up while holding my fingers...he's done that for almost two months!

My daughter was born on the 5th and she is not rolling over at all yet. She tries really hard but just cant get it! She does sit up when assisted by someone or something and she likes to stand up when you hold her hands!!!

Our little guy, born 31st, first rolled tummy to back a couple of weeks ago. He's done it 3 times, all on that day, but not since. He's trying hard though, and gets frustrated at himself for not getting there.

My little guy started rolling both ways when he was a month old... We thought it was crazy... And sure enough, he stopped. Now he is just over 4 months (born the 15th) and he can't roll either way. He has far surpassed his other milestones but I think he is just trying to make me look silly for being so proud of him when he did it at one month!

My daughter started rolling over from her back to belly at 14 weeks. somehow the belly to back maneuver was skipped. lol as long as your babe can do both by 6 months that is completely normal
