Since my baby shower my mother in law has done what she wanted, no matter what I say! She redecorated my whole shower. When she found out my mother was making a wreath for the hospital, she had TWO wreaths made and whenever my mom left she would take hers off the door and replace with her two! From day one of our baby being born she had an issue with her "poop". Gave her karo syrup at 2 weeks old because she hadn't poo'd that day and then lied about it! Started giving her juice behind my back after I told her we were not giving it to her yet. I had to have my boyfriend get on to her because she has no necessities for the baby as far as onesies, baby monitor, toys, etc... But a closet full of shoes, smocked outfits and bows. Because of work issues our baby stays at MY moms one night a week. My mom lives in the same neighborhood and mother in law lives 30 minutes away. When she found out the baby stays there once a week she threw a fit because she doesn't get her. First of all, I do not trust her plus she sleeps with a sound machine and doesn't have a monitor! And lives that far away. She is causing ally of problems in our relationship by putting her son in the middle and making excuses for why she does things. The fina, straw was yesterday when I found out she gave my baby a suppository ( she said baby was straining) without asking! I'm lost and don't know what else to do, I have tried talking to her but she will never get that he does not have the right to make decisions like that with our baby! Help!!

i had alot of simular issues with my mother in law breaking my rules and then arguing when confronted. I finally had to put my foot down and not allow her to keep my children at all if she wasnt going to respect my rules. It caused a huge fight, but i decided my child saftey had to come first. My husband joined the army and we moved out of state so that has made it easyer.
