Weight gain and loss?

I was wondering how much you put on during your pregnancy & how much you have lossed since having bubba, and what did you do to get to where you are now.



I put on 30kg (66pounds) during my pregnancy and have dropped about 10kg (22pounds) since, by just having smaller portian sizes and generally eating healthier and better foods.

I have'nt mustered up the willingness to actually go for daily walks/runs yet haha although i do want to!

I gained 45 lbs and have lost it all now at 8 months. Breastfeeding helps alot. I also have a 2 year old I am running around after so I think that helped too! Unfortunately, even though I am back to my pp weight, it is distributed differently, which I am not crazy about.

i gained 30Kg and my son is 8mnth and ive lost 20kg by going 2 the gym and eating healthy

I picked up 26kg during my pregnancy and i have lost 18kg. I eat alot of veg, but don't exactly stay away from chocolate. I have been out for a few runs with my buggy and have gone swimming and spinning and a Legs bums and tums aerobic class, but in the last month i have not done exercise. got to start tomorrow again.

My little girl is now 7 months and as of 5 weeks ago I weighed as much or more as I did when I was 9 months pregnant. 5 weeks ago I started on Nutrisystem and started walking every day and I have lost 16lbs so far. Still want to lose at least 25 lbs more.

Well i gained 5kg post baby (how do you do that???) Since then i have been taking a fantastic product called Osolean which targets your fat not your muscle and it is safe to use while breastfeeding which is awesome and since April I have lost 45cm off my body - still have a lot more to lose but with this product you cound the cm not the kilos as muscle weighs more than fat.

I gained 45 pounds and returned to my prepregnancy weight in 16 weeks. My daughter is now 7.5 months and I'm 18 LESS than I was before I started cooking her! Yay for breastfeeding and wii fit!

I put on 38 pounds with my second pregnancy. My baby was 7 pounds 10 oz. He's now almost 8 months old. I have lost 30 pounds so far. The last 8-10 seem to be the most difficult to lose. I am eating relatively well and running a few times a week. I am also doing an excersize dvd that is helping me put a lot of muscle back on! It's amazing. It's Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. It's really tough but i am seeing great results. Good luck!

I gained 48lbs when I was pregnant and I have lost 38lbs total. I breastfed only for a month and a half, but I walk a lot and exercise as much as I can. which isn't too often haha. but I don't care to be the same weight as I was before I was pregnant. Just not as jiggly. (:

I gained 17 pounds and so far I've lost about 50 pounds. Breast feeding helps!! I've also started running about 12-15 miles a week.

I couldn't be bothered trying to lose the extra 15kg that I gained with my daughter so I fell pregnant straight away lol... I'll deal with it another day...lol

I gained 53 pounds and lost all by 6 months. I am working on losing 14 more which puts me back to my wedding weight. I am just eating healthy and staying busy with my 7 month old. :)

I gained 11kg during my pregnancy, and since then (my baby is now 7months old) I've lost 16kg. I'm breastfeeding, which helps a lot, that's probably the only reason why I've lost so much, coz I'm not really bothered by what I eat. I eat healthy, but i'm not counting calories or eating only low fat sugar free stuff. Full fat, full cream, full sugar, loving it hahaha!

I gained 35pounds and gave birth to a 9 pound boy. Found out at 3 months he was allergic to cows milk protein. I breast feed, so I had to eliminate all cows milk containing products. If you read the back of most grocery items, everything has milk or the protein in it. My baby is now 8 mo and I am below my pre pregnancy weight. I crave chocolate all the time! I expect that after I stop breastfeeding I will gain 20 pounds from eating ice cream, queso, and ranch dresssingj!

I gained 55 pounds, which was mostly all baby and water weight. He was 7lbs 14oz. At my pp appointment (December, 2009), I had 14 pounds to lose. Now, I need to lose another 5-6 to be at my 110 pp weight

Well I only gained 12 lb my entire pregnancy (baby was 7 lb 12 oz); had lost all of that and then some by the time baby was 9 days old, but have gained 30 lb since that time!!! Guess I was a lot more careful about what I put in my mouth when I was pregnant and no time to cook now. Would like to hear from others what works to lose post baby pounds and fit back into my clothes!

I put on 20 pounds and lost 31 pounds after my son was born. I did work out classes for about a month and have used my son in my snugli. My son has made me more active because he needs a walk at least once a day to get out of the house.

I gained 26 lbs. I had a 7 lb 12 oz baby and lost 15 when she was born. I lost 10 lbs the first 2 weeks and all I was doing was bf'ing. I stayed there until around 10 weeks. I started doing sit-ups and lost that final pound. Then I started working out using the Wii Fit, eating healthier and better portioning and have lost an additional 6 lbs. I'm basically at my ideal weight now which according to Wii Fit is a BMI of 22. :D

I gained 31 lbs and birthed an 8-pound baby. Within a month 25 lbs came off but then my weight rebounded up quickly. By about 4 months post-partum I was back to my PP weight and have stabilized there, although I look much the worse for wear as I was unable to exercise due to pubic symphasis dysfunction and am only now beginning again. Hard to find the energy and time for it. Also, FWIW, I am still breastfeeding and my son is 7 months old.

I gained 50 pounds while I was pregnant. I lost 30 pounds of it in the first 6 weeks after she was born (almost 1/3 of which was just baby). It's taken 6 months though to lose another 25 pounds.
I am breastfeeding and not eating quite as much and eating a lot more fruits and vegetables. We go for walks once in a while, but not a lot. For a while I was using the Wii Fit regularly, but that's been quite a while ago. Now that the baby is awake and busier now, it's harder to find the time to do that.

I gained 35 pounds (sorry I don't know the kg on that....wish it was all relative!) and lost 9 pounds when I had my 8 pound 7 ounce baby and haven't lost any since. I just haven't had too much motivation to loose other than the mirror. I have been breastfeeding too and, I have always heard it would basically melt off but, not for me!

okay i was 79kgs before i fell pregnant with my son 109kgs when i gave birth (alot of fluid to the point where i was showing at 5 weeks noticably lol) so that is a weight gain of 30kgs (alot i know lol) then after my son was born i weight 98 kgs right away so a loss of 11kgs and then before a became pregnant with my fourth baby (currently 2 months 1 week) (i had two misscarriages before my son was born) i was 78 kgs now i currently weigh 80kgs and what i did to lose it was plenty of rest and taking care of my boy and playing with him all the time walking and thats it i didn't do much just being a mum got it off of me. lol

I put on 15kgs, lost 20!!! and now put back 4kg because I am 20 weeks pregnant.

I hope I don't put on too much this time. I really want to lose the baby weight and another 15kg afterward.

This is my 4th and last pregnancy and with each one I have managed to keep on at least 2 kilos!!

Good luck whatever you decide in relation to exercise. Hope you reach all your goals
