Hello Megan,

My labor was a breeze with my first one as well and I am hoping this is one is pretty easy as well. I am kind of getting nervous thinking about the labor. But I no in the long run I will have something amazing.

I feel the same way Tawnya! My first pregnancy I was terribly sick and soooo tired. This time around it's a breeze! Labor went really well with first one. Hoping for the same this time too.

Hello Sandie,

I am also going threw the same things. I am 28 weeks and due may 3rd. My first pregnancy I had a girl and It was terrible. I had morning sickness all 9 month back pain. campy all the time. I couldn't eat many foods I was just miserable. This pregnancy is a breeze for me I am having another girl and I don't even feel pregnant excepted the fact that I get kicked a lot.

Mine are different also. with my daughter i had only a little morning sickness and was gone b4 i hit 12weeks and popped really early.. pregnancy went fine. labour was not good tho....



With number two we are having a boy. had no morning sickness what so ever which was a bonus coz my daughter is nearly 5 and i also work part time stil.. however i do have some sciatica issues with this one especially on my longer days at work or if i do too much in a day.. and i am nearly twice the size of what i was carrying my daughter. but i have my ob monitoring me and we are looking like we will be having him early so he doesnt get so big and i dont have the same complications as i did with my daughter

I'm also in the second trimester of my second pregnancy. I was rather lucky with my first pregnancy, with extremely mild morning sickness for a few weeks, and then slight backaches in the last few weeks of my pregnancy. Baby arrived bang on time even though my mum and sister swore he would be about two weeks late since all of their babies were late. The labour was long but went without any problems.

My pregnancy this time is so different from the first one. I have awful morning sickness although it has eased up a lot in the second trimester. I get terrible headaches, nosebleeds and am just achy all over. I'm about 26 weeks along but already I'm having trouble sleeping because the baby kicks so much, having to pee all the time and am winded and get round ligament pains every time I take a walk or do any form of exercise.

I was so sure that I was having a girl this time because everything was so different but when I went for my recent checkup, the doctor confirmed it was another boy. I have a feeling that this pregnancy is much more difficult this time around because I wasn't in the best of shape physically before I found out I was pregnant. I was really stressed out with work, not eating properly, not getting any exercise and just generally not in peak condition to have a baby. I'm only 26 but I suppose it goes for any age that if you're thinking about having a baby, you do need to make sure your body is ready for it as it does take a big toll on it.

You should try to do some prenatal yoga, pilates or water exercises all are beneficial in a number of ways: you feel more connected to your baby, you stretch and relax your muscles, its a very healthy way of exercise during pregnancy, helps relieves the aches and pains of pregnancy, and helps you develop strength in your muscles to help you be more prepared for labor. You should see if there is any classes you can take in your area for any of these forms of exercise. If you are low on money you can go on google or youtube and look up videos there. Just make sure you search specifically PRENATAL yoga or pilates or if you want to be more precise look up video exercises especially designed for women in there second trimester and third trimester videos for when you are in your third trimester. I hope this helps!

sounds like you're telling my EXACT story! just take it day by day, my daughters pregnance was horrendous, but, after 9 hours of natural labor, 2nd degree tearing and hemmorhage, i now have the most beautiful 1 year old little girl, and she's definately the last after what i went through! good luck, and remember, you won't be pregnant forever :)

Mine are completely different too! The biggest difference, with Gabby I gained no weight, my belly was huge but i stayed small everywhere else. With this baby I am now a size 10!! My ass is HUGE and my belly is relatively small. I got thunder thighs. Its outrageous. I'm only 5'3 usually 130 lbs and take a size 5, while 10 is normal for some...its pushing overweight if i wasn't pregnant.

Thanks!! I knew every pregnancy was different but didn't realise how different it could be, lol.



I will have a nice soak in the bath tonight, and try a hot water bottle on my lower back for a while, sounds good!!

This is my second as well, my first a girl and this one is a boy. I had a super easy pregnancy with my daughter, I was naseous the first trimester and had horrible sciatic pain but other than that it was great. With this one, I have had a full body breakout, eczema breakout, everything makes me want to puke, I have horrible headaches, and I'm extremely irrational. I also have heartburn which I had with baby number one too, but I have restless legs constantly! For the pain I would suggest Tylenol, but since you said you really don't want to use painkillers what I usually do is take a warm bath, that usually soothes my aches and pains away. Good luck and congratulations on having a girl, girls are so much fun!

Yup my two pregnancys are night and day as well! With my son I was sick for 7 months and on medication to keep anything down and very mild sciatica.



With this pregnancy (26 weeks) I have been put on bed rest for the sciatica pain until the baby luckly moved. That was a huge relife. I was only sick for 8 weeks and poof one day it stopped. I also am having really bad hip pain/groin pain.

I have found for my back/hip heat works the best. That and just trying to take it as easy as possible.
