Congrats. :D
That is interesting that the can do it from blood? I thought it was only ammino and U/S that could find out sex.

Hi There!

You were right about trusting the result! I had another type of blood test done and a CLEAR sonogram! It's a GIRL! I have 3 boys already so I'm OVER THE MOON WITH HAPPINESS!

HA! Hi - I just realized that I posted the same question to you on YouTube aking if you actually had a Girl. I already know the answer! HAD NO IDEA that you were the same person. I happened to come across this web-site, how funny. Well, I have a girl result & I'm basically just freaking/obsessed with the accuracy. Ok, thanks, take care!

It says on the website: "In a natural process, fetal cells die and pass into the mother's bloodstream. As these cells break down, their DNA is released into the mother's own circulatory system. The cells decompose and free DNA is released into the mother's bloodstream. Using a small sample of the mother’s blood, we can determine if there is Y-specific chromosomal DNA. If we detect Y-specific chromosomal DNA, the fetus is male. If there is no Y-specific chromosomal DNA, the fetus is a female. Remember, females have 2 X chromosomes, while males have one X and one Y chromosome."

the test is 95% accurate.

The test can be false if:
-you test before 7 weeks pregnant
-you don't send enough blood (there is a paper with 4 circles on it, you have to fill at least 3 circles completely, but all 4 circles is best... I filled all 4 completely and than some lol)
-you were recently pregnant with a boy (you have to wait at least 3 months between your last pregnancy and testing)
-you contaminate the test with male DNA (the test must be done in a room alone, you have to clean the area well, wash your hands and under the nails well for 3 minutes...)

With a girl result, it's more reliable.

a friend on youtube did the test a week or so before me and she confirmed with an ultrasound last week that the test was right... she is having her 5th boy!
