Just wondering if anyone elses babies are not crawling yet? My bub is 1 on the 16th of Nov and still not crawling. She can stand holding onto things and walk holding my hands but has no interest in crawling. She can bum-shuffle a little to get to things that are close to her but thats it.

I wouldn't worry my husband's sister never crawled, she scooted on her butt instead. If you have hard flooring through out your home that could be why, it's really hard for them to crawl on hard flooring, there just isn't enough traction.
I've cared for other children who never crawled in any fashion, but were walking on average at 15 months.

oh, tell me about it! My son born Nov 24th is also not crawling but so close to crawling. He army crawls a little but that is all. He cannot stand up yet on his own from a sitting position and has no interest in taking steps.

Some babies never crawl. If she's scooting and getting around and has good use of her legs I dont think you have anything to be concerned about. She'll probably just scoot untill she can walk. Crawling is just one way of getting around untill they can walk. Also if you have hard floors like tiles or floor boards scooting may be more comfortable for her as crawling may hurt her knees.

my bub started crawling at 10 months but my nephew never crawled at all just dragged himself around and then pulled up to lounge and started walking. if his already pulling up on furniture he probley wont crawl.
