Well, today is my first full day back at home. I went in for my non-stress test (part of my weekly schedule now since I have gestational diabetes) and the baby's heart rate kept dropping pretty low, especially when I was contracting. They admitted me and put me on procardia to get the contractions to stop. It wasn't working at first but finally they have stopped. I am now on full bed rest (advanced from modified) to try and make it at least 2 more weeks. I am 35 weeks and really wanna make it to having a full term baby (despite this being my last one). With all the complications that have occurred during this pregnancy (and prior to for us to get to this point), I am pretty sure that I will weep when I finally hold my li'l man in my arms for the first time.

I hope that everyone else is doing well and getting ready for their delivery with no complications. Oh, and boy was I glad that I had the bags packed already!!! lol ... good luck all!

Thats awesome!! I have been haveing A LOT of pressure almost unbearable to walk!

I am so excitied for you! and thats great that they let little mister come home with you! I am hopeing that i hold out until atleast 38 weeks. Prayers are being sent your way. I read your other post and things will get better the last few weeks are always the ruffest. I grew up in a construction family and your right the hours they have to work are unbearable sometimes, if you ever need to talk meassage me!

Had another appt yesterday ... have basically 3 a wk now-a-days with all the NST's and AFI's and regular OB/GYN's I gotta see/do. lol ... I also had my pre-registration appt with the hospital. I asked A LOT of questions. Come to find out, here as long as he is healthy and weighs in nicely, he gets to come home with me if I go early. They are taking the cerclage out on Friday and I progress to 36 weeks this week as well so the bed rest restriction is being lifted!!!! I can't wait to be allowed to do whatever I want again!! lol ... hopefully, we'll be having baby soon!!!!

the longer they stay in the oven the better they will be!! LOL my Dr. stops labor until 37 weeks, the hospitals will not let your baby leave(if you go in at 34 weeks your baby stays at the hospitial for 3 weeks) if you dielvery any earlier then that. well around here at least I not sure about other areas

That's interesting, because my doctor said that at 34 weeks, she won't try to stop labor if it starts. So.. if you go early, I wouldn't worry--your baby should be just fine.

Thanks, LauraBeth and I know what you mean. I was explicitly told not to go outdoors at all until this heat wave passes as it's been about 100-110 for the past week or so here and is expected to stay the same for a bit longer. I really hate it too b/c I LOVE to be outside with my kids. Not to mention, it sucks having to ask someone else to do everything except pee for me! Oh well, not my first time here ... was on bed rest for much longer with my first one so I know the routine ... I just hate it. It's like bein put in prison when you're normally a very active person.
