What should i pack....?

I packed some snacks just in case i got hungry in the middle of the night!! Im told that feeding tops and bras are a huge must along with the usual things that you pack. Our hospital said to pack some cotton wool walls to wash bubs and change, clothes, 2 blankets and all that stuff

so i had my first when i was 19 and went in with nothing big mistake dont know exactly about ur hospital but mine didnt give very much definatly take ur tooth brush and toothpaste and a brush i had to send my mom home to get all of this because i forgot all my stuff at home due to the fact that they sent me right from my dr.s appt. and if u have to have conditioner i would definatly take that two because they dont give that either but other then that just an out fit to come home in and what ever else u feel u would like to have like a book or something honestly u will be so wrapped up with family and the baby that u wont have time but good luck and congratulations

pen and paper for taking notes
birth plan
pillow
snacks for after dellivery
music, puzzles, magazines, books, etc.
camera/charger
phone charger
baby care book (maybe baby's first year?)
baby book for recording everything
sparkling cider to celebrate
shower gel, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, makeup, etc.
extra undies
nightgown/jammie pants sumthin comfy
outfit to go home in (will be sore/look a few months pregnant)
baby clothes(a couple outfits smaller and bigger just in case)

Deck of cards, books to read, activity books, music, laptop ... bring things for you to do when you are in labour (if you are willing to do anything) as well as after baby when it is just you alone in the room having quiet time when baby is sleeping or nursing.
Like Shelly said, the hospital will give you everything you need for baby except the going home outfit and your shower things and clothing for you.
Our hospital has stacks of diapers and wipes, blankets, sleepers, creams, baby soap, and anything else you can think of for baby. They also have many pads and such for mom.
Bring a night gown or Very loose pants for after birth that you can wear. Having your own jammies is so much better than the hospital gowns.
The other thing you can do is to call your hospital and ask what you need the bring with you. Our L/D department was very helpful with my first.
Good Luck! As hard as it is, try to enjoy every minute of labour and delivery. it is truely special

I haven't packed either! 8 days to go.... I have looked on-line at "What to expect" web sight and there is a list on there as well. I keep telling myself I'll pack later, I'm afraid I'll go into labor and forget something important! I hope all goes well with you and the baby. Best of Luck to you.

The hospital supplies most everything for the baby except the going home outfit. But as for you, I would suggest bringing some toiletries so you can shower, a couple of pajamas or whatever you feel comfortable in so you don't have to stay in the hospital gowns( so not flattering). Definitely bring some maternity underwear, they are the most comfortable after delivery especially if the unexpected happens. (c-section). Cameras/ video cameras are a must and lastly a going home outfit for you, you will still look a little pregnant because uterus is still swollen so maternity clothes.
