I'm 19 weeks pregnant and in my 2nd trimester. I just started to get a yeast infection and the itching, redness, and irratation has just started. I will be calling my doctor tomorrow to see what I can do and use. I was just curious if anyone else has gotten a yeast infection while being pregnant and what they used? I never got a yeast infection while pregnant with my daughter.

I have before, not with this one though. Pregnancy makes you more at risk for infections and yeast infections are just one of them. Yogurt will help and they should be able to recommend or prescribe a safe medication.

last time I did, but not this time, I am not allowed to do alot of things with this one bc of the last one. I remember last time they gave me a wonder pill, one pill and took it all way. Sorry that was 5 years ago and I cannot think of what it was called.

I haven't gotten one during this pregnancy but when I was pregnant with my daughter last year, I went to the store and got Monistat, the one time treatment that came with the wipes to stop the itching and irritation and the cream to help relieve the burning sensation. My doctor told me it was completely fine to use the over the counter stuff. It won't hurt the baby and it'll stop the itching in a day.
