I was wondering if anyone could predict what they were having by symptoms or how they were carrying ? I'm having horrible heartburn more sickness and different cravings than with my first son. I'm hoping this ones a girl want to hear your stories, thoughts????

we can't find out because it's very early time i am also 16 weeks pregnant and doctor told me that it's very early time to tell gender so wait until 20 weeks

My personal experience. My first was a boy, I had little to no symptoms of morning sickness, slight nausea but not to the point of actually puking had bad heartburn which I think you cant avoid either sex. Had horrible cravings of pickles and bacon ( I know gross). My second which I am currently 36 weeks pregnant with was just horrid! Morning sickness to the extreme for 4 months that I couldnt get off the couch, puking everything up and little to no cravings at all and found out shes a girl. Two very unique and different pregnancies. The symptoms could be an old wives tale but for me it seemed to follow that pattern. WIshing you luck for you healthy LO :)

I don't know but I hope so because I am having an ultra sound done today and again for my 20th week. All my pregnancies were different with cravings but mostly the same when it came to nausea ect.. I have 2 boys and 2 girls and no idea what baby #5 is.

16 weeks you sometimes can tell on the ultrasound, that is your best bet. Most of my family thought i was having a boy, they say 75% girl... Old myths say morning sickness means girl, but I hardly had any. I know a girl, she sad every myth of a girl.... she is having a boy.
Its how the one lady told me, I am having a girl because I couldnt come up with a girls name lol

If you have money for an ultrasound, otherwise it'll always be a 50/50 guess. Though there are studies showing that women who have no preference for a certain gender often have better odds at guessing what they're having.

It is pot luck I am afraid. My two boys were very different, I had a craving for cakes with my first and fruit with my second and carried them both with the weight all at the front. My daughter was carried at the front as well but the morning sickness was terrible up until about 22 weeks. All I could stomach with her was fresh pineapple.
I hope you get your little girl.
