I am 19 and a half weeks pregnant and waiting for my ultrasound which is in 4 days. I came down with what I think is a cold a couple of days ago - sore throat, runny nose, plugged ears. The last couple of days I've been having a lot of anxiety which has made me question whether there is something wrong with the pregnancy. I was pregnant 7 years ago and lost the baby at 12 weeks to chromosomal adnormalities. I gained a lot of weight in the course of these 7 years and went through a stage of infertility due to weight gain. Amazingly I got pregnant which came as a complete shock! I had bleeding at 10 weeks 4 days and went to the hospital. They did an ultrasound a couple of days later and turned out everything was normal. At my last doctors appointment they told me my last urine sample turned back with protein in it and so I did another urine sample and turned out I had a bladder infection. I took the prescribed medication as indicated and still felt like I had a bladder infection. I called the doctor yesterday and am going to do a urine sample at the lab in my town. I started getting some light cramping like when you are getting your period and I have some low back pain (also similar to that when getting your period). I could have swore I felt the baby move last night but I don't know if maybe my mind is playing tricks on me hoping that everything is ok. I called the OB today (who is located 1 1/2 hours away) and they have a system where I can only leave a message and they get back to me. It's now been a couple hours and have not heard anything. Do you think I'm worrying way too much or could something be wrong?
