Well, it happens. That would be something I would mention to the doctor at your appointment. Maybe the baby just flipped. :) Best Wishes

I'd definitely mention it to your doctor; all sorts of things can be 'normal' in pregnancy, but it is unusual to drop so early except in a first pregnancy (apparently).
Unusual is not the same as 'never happens' so it could just be normal for you.

On the other hand, premi-labour is also out of the ordinary (statisitically) but it happens, and if it is likely to happen, there are things you and the doctor need to do to prepare (like steroid injections to help mature baby's lungs).

Don't stress yourself with worry - but you know if something is odd, far more than even the doctor does, so if you think it's odd, I'd get it thoroughly checked out and keep it monitored.

I agree that baby could have just changed position (all 4 of my girls sat differently), so an ultrasound and exam by your doctor should be able to establish exactly what the little monkey is up to.

Good Luck.
