36 Weeks Pregnant and want this baby out right now!!!

I am 36 weeks pregnant, lost my plug exactly a week ago after sexsual intercourse then a bit more the next day.. do you think baby is on the way? i havn't lost anymore since.. had the occasional period like pain but doesn't seem to last very long at one time?

im 35 weeks pregnant 2moro with my 4th an im a single mum.. i already got 2 boys 11 and 6 an my girl is 5. im struggling big time with every day thing even got my kids helping me with small things like picking things up an i struggle to sit up im that big!! when i walk up the school im in agony with ligament pains an i just wanna stop an break down an cry! my last was born with b strep an all im doing is worry about this one but i've so had enough of pregnancy cant cope another 5 weeks or more an want him out now!!!! plus i've always been so independant i hate having to ask for help i wanna do things myself an get back to being normal!! hope they induce u early an good luck with things xxx

Havin to see doctor at antenatal on wed so will try talking to the doc again.. Friday and Saturday bubs head was right down and engaged but on sun mornin had come back out.. have tried to get everything at home done while the pain not there but i think i may have done too much.. Trying to stay positive but by the end of the day i feel like a real nutter and find jus puttin my daughter to bed to be too much.. Thanls for all ur Replies..

and i cant even do most of the things to try to bring on labor, i can barely walk around, sex would be immensely painful, i cant push the vaccum, bah.

i feel your pain. i have been in immense pain because around 33 weeks i had a severe kideny stone attack with major blockage of my left kidney. they had to go up and put a stent in to releive the blockage and keep the larger stones from trying to pass. it has to stay in till she is born. Well, the stent causes insane pain and discomfort ( among many things, peeing feels like thousands of tiny knives stabbing you in the bladder AND the crotch, and you constantlty pee blood...and thats just the beginnin) i had to quit working because i can not DO anything. but sit or lay down pretty much. i can barewly care for my two kids for the few hours of the day i have them alone till hubby gets home from work. ON TOP of that, the stent has caused bladder spasms...which in turn cause sympathetic uterine contractions, so for about 3 weeks now, i have felt lik ei was in labor, but not. seriousli will get bouts of intense close contractions lasting anywhere from an hour to 14 hours. im exhausted, in pain and so done. they finally did an amnio at 36 weeks 6 days to check her lungs and since the test was "inconclusive" they wont induce till week 39. ( both my other kids came before then) so im stuck, waiting for labor or waiting another 11 days for this nightmare to end.

Go for walks, do the hoovering, mow the lawn & have sex. The hip action can sometimes start your uterus contracting. Be sure that your ready to deal with a premmie baby. Wait ONE more week & then go up & demand to be induced, show them how crazy your getting. One week will make all the difference in the world to your baby's health & wellbeing.

Hi Tess,
The baby is able to come out and breath on its own at 37weeks so if you don't feel that the dr is helping you then get a second opinion, for you and your babies safety, cause your health and your babies health is what matters most and if your not coping mentally, which means your stressing then the baby is feeling that stress. I totally understand how you feel im on my 4th child and 31 weeks pregnant and i wanted this one out right when i found out i was prego hehe....I'm hoping they induce you because i never really got depression and im not saying that i do but i cry for no reason and im always aggravated but i was soppose to be induced at 34 weeks but my doc changed it to not really anything so im just going with the fact that im stuck with this one inside me for the rest of my life.I hope everything goes well with your delivery if you haven't already had your baby GOOD LUCK!

i know how you feel..im 30 weeks and i just want to go back to normal..but im just going to bitch and complain the next ten weeks instead of being induced..im just scared something will go wrong and it would then really be all my fault becuase i caused it...i havent looked into it tho, so i dont know all the statistics and problems or no problems that come with being induced...good luck!!!

Sounds Like your first birth was pretty scary and traumatic for you. Especially when the doctors were yelling at you, I bet it made you feel really uncomfortable and frightened

I feel your frustration and understand why you may be feeling such an urgency to get the baby out. However, you really should listen to your health care providers and wait till 38 weeks. I know this is not what you want to hear right now because you want that baby out!. Do you even know if the baby is in the birthing position? Is your cervix dilated at all? Please try to Hang in there at least till 38 weeks if the medical professionals are concerned about harm coming to you or your child. I hope you are able to discuss your fears with your doctor and I would encourage you to do so and they maybe able to offer you other options like a c-section. Remember at 36 weeks pregnant your baby is considered a pre-term and some of its organs are still developing and dialing in so that they function properly outside of the womb. There are a few things you can do to help your body prepare for labor; but I strongly suggest you begin them after you get your docs approval. 1. Walking= because the gravity naturally helps move the baby into position. 2. Sex= the hormones released during orgasms prostoglandins stimulate the cervix and contractions. Prostoglandins are also found in mens semen. If sex is too uncomfortable you can use nipple stimulation which releases a different hormone but will have same effect 3. Eating= spicy foods Indian or Mexican according to some women help induce pregnancy, pineapple helps ripen the cervix and prepare the body for labor, red raspberry tea leaf helps to relax the uterine muscles. 4. Massage= from a pregnancy certified acupressurist or massage therapist. Certain pressure points when stimulated will get things going. Hang in there woman you can do it. The weeks will fly by if you try to focus on something else and then you can safely have your baby.

I'm 11 weeks pregnant with my second. I'm sorry you are having such a hard pregnancy:( Just remember what it's like when they come out! I remember thinking ahhh why did I rush this he was so quiet and happy in my belly during particularly rough nights! Good luck!
