I am just now 39 weeks pregnant and I'm nauseous, sick to my stomach, have diarrhea, and a lot of pressure today not to mention tons of mucus. Sorry I know TMI but could this be labor?

THE BEST ADVICE FOR YOU IS FOR YOU TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR OR MIDWIFE AND EXPLAIN YOUR SYMPTOMS SO HE OR SHE CAN GIVE YOU THE BEST TREATMENT BECAUSE SHOULD YOUR SYMPTOMS PERSIST THEY MAY WANT TO HAVE YOU ADMITTED IN ORDER TO MONITOR YOU MORE CLOSELY.

39 weeks pregnant with nausea, diarrhea and pressure can be signs of labor.. but you can also have those 'signs' for 3 weeks prior... so wait on contractions! even with regualr contractions many mothers go to the hospital 3 or more times before bieng admitted.... days or even weeks before they are in actual 'delivery mode'

I was induced and had diarreha in the hospital, also a ton of mucus as well. At least your at home to go through all of that! LOL! It could be a sign! I am so jealous,I have 19 weeks to go! Congrats!

I had wanted to ask pretty much the same thing as I was this way the 19th and 20th.

Still pregnant (37w2d) with no contractions.

39 weeks pregnant with nausea, diarrhea and pressure sounds like the beginning, maybe your body preparing for labour!!

Good luck x

Yes, diarrhea is definitely a sign. But you will probably know by know!

Contractions that come closer and closer together are labor, but it could be gearing up, just be thankful your bowels are emptying now (even though it's unpleasant) and not on the delivery table :| I had no idea how common that was it gives me one more thing to look forward to! Good luck ♥

Being 39 weeks pregnant with nausea and diarrhea very well could be the very beginning stages of labor... but it's no guarantee about how soon you'll deliver. I would call your on-call doctor and keep a watch or something handy so you can time contractions if they start up soon. I've heard that a lot of times, a woman will go through that between a day to a week before giving birth. (I was induced, so I'm not exactly sure.) Good luck, and call the doctor just to make sure.
