I am just now 39 weeks pregnant and I'm nauseous, sick to my stomach, have diarrhea, and a lot of pressure today not to mention tons of mucus. Sorry I know TMI but could this be labor?

39 weeks pregnant with nausea, diarrhea and pressure can be signs of labor.. but you can also have those 'signs' for 3 weeks prior... so wait on contractions! even with regualr contractions many mothers go to the hospital 3 or more times before bieng admitted.... days or even weeks before they are in actual 'delivery mode'

39 weeks pregnant with nausea, diarrhea and pressure sounds like the beginning, maybe your body preparing for labour!!

Good luck x

Being 39 weeks pregnant with nausea and diarrhea very well could be the very beginning stages of labor... but it's no guarantee about how soon you'll deliver. I would call your on-call doctor and keep a watch or something handy so you can time contractions if they start up soon. I've heard that a lot of times, a woman will go through that between a day to a week before giving birth. (I was induced, so I'm not exactly sure.) Good luck, and call the doctor just to make sure.

Contractions that come closer and closer together are labor, but it could be gearing up, just be thankful your bowels are emptying now (even though it's unpleasant) and not on the delivery table :| I had no idea how common that was it gives me one more thing to look forward to! Good luck ♥

No honey you are not in labor yet thats what happens to all the woman when there stomach is making room for your baby to go down. I dont know if I make sense. But when your baby goes down his head is closer to your vagina. He or she is getting ready to come out. The only way you can be in labor if your bleeding or your water breaks. When I was in labor I went to the bathroom and I saw blood like if my period came. But my water didnt break until I was at the hospital they told me I was 2 3 cm open so I couldnt go home. They induced me and I was 16 hours trying to open up and I ask for epudurals as many as they can give me. And all I felt was a big ball in my back in the front my stomach was hard like a rock even if I was numb. They I push and push and my beautiful princess came out. Best moment ever she just turn 4 months and I love her more than anything. Good luck

THE BEST ADVICE FOR YOU IS FOR YOU TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR OR MIDWIFE AND EXPLAIN YOUR SYMPTOMS SO HE OR SHE CAN GIVE YOU THE BEST TREATMENT BECAUSE SHOULD YOUR SYMPTOMS PERSIST THEY MAY WANT TO HAVE YOU ADMITTED IN ORDER TO MONITOR YOU MORE CLOSELY.

Yes, diarrhea is definitely a sign. But you will probably know by know!
