5 weeks prego .. need advise!!

This is my second pregnancy, and I have a daughter that is 18 months. With both pregnancies no morning sickness, my breast wasnt sore. Only thing that is different is with my daughter I had no problems, no pain nothing. Now im pregnant with my son and im in pain all the time. My back hurts, my pelvic area. It sucks trying to get in and out of bed. I wouldnt worry yourself too much stress isnt good for you or the baby. Relax you might be like me and not have any symptoms at all. Good luck.

honestly I never had any bad symptoms. just a little loss of appetite. my boobs started swelling almost immediately though. I supposedly conceived between Xmas eve and the day after Xmas and my boobs has already went from a "c" to a "d" by new years. but it was a good kind of hurt. well to me anyways.

ive had my share of miscarages ..... f thats whats going on there is nothing you can do about that..... try not to worry because being that upset dose not help a all......... try to rember that every pregnacey is different

same here....exact same symptoms...and scared too....can't believe that I am am 5 wks preg with no other signs...first time around I had crazy morning sickness and had a baby girl....Maybe its true...tho' I want a girl again :)

I have had two wonderful babies, one boy and one girl, I had awful morning sickness with BOTH of my children. Don't start freaking out unless the ob/gyn gives you a reason to. Good luck

Sarah, Breath hun. Take a deep breath and relax, worrying is the last thing you want to do and put stress on you and your baby. Just because you don't have morning sickness does not mean your having a boy or you will miscarry. I have two boys and my recent one will be 6 months May 7th and I was worried too about miscarry because I have had 4 in the past. Try not to think about it because it is not good for you and the baby, my doctor told me this. Also I didn't feel pregnant until April, I was 2 months. I got pregnant in Feb and at the end of April I was so sick for only 2 weeks. But my boobs never hurt, I had no signs of pregnancy what so ever. In June is when I started to feel pregnant and look it too. I did lose a lot of weight the two weeks I was sick and was worried about the baby (my son). It was hard with Christian who was almost three at the time. I had to be on fluids cause of dehydration but they said it would not hurt the baby for me being this sick because the baby will still take what he or she needs from you. If you do get morning sickness eventually or not. BUy preggy drops or the lolli pops. you can google either one. They work wonders and they taste so good as well. i never got any symptoms untill week 10 so im thinking tottally normal i have a daughter who is 3 and i never got sick at all with her, im now 13 weeks into number 2 and am sick all the time and i think its a girl

I am 22 weeks, and I swear I would not of known I was pregnant if I did not miss my period.

Anything I had I would of thought it was work related. I felt a little sick, but I had a cold at the time. I also only had morning sickness about 4 times. I would of thought it was due to work, because I was starting to work around 40 hours at a fast food place and half the time I was on dive thru sometimes working 10 hour days on my feet, I also got headaces but nothing to crazy.

I would of thought that was work agian the non stop talking in one ear and beeping.



No worries, my mom never got morning sickness with me, her boobs didnt even get bigger. Mine still don't hurt, and if anything I am same size, by boobs just seem fuller.



I didnt even start showing til about 4 months, and people now sometimes cant even tell I am expecting depending on what wear. The main people that can tell are people that know me. Eg I mom told someone I am having a baby, they said oh well you must not be far along. I said five months, and all i had on was a zip up hoddie that as one size to big on me.



Also they say every pregnancy is differnt, and dont worry, I am sure your fine!

5 weeks is really early. If you think about it the baby is actually only 3wks gestation cus two of those weeks account for your ovulation/period. If you had morning sickness last time then it could come any day now. Or you could be having a pregnancy with little symptoms. Give it time and don't let fear take over, be thankful for lack of symptoms for now. And I wish you the best. PS(my symptoms started around 7 weeks and lasted until 14-15 weeks)

I am pregnant with child number 3 and they were all different! With this pregnancy I have only gained 4 pounds, but I think that is because I was a little chunky to begin with and I have lost "body" fat but gained "baby" weight. All of the things that people told me (Old Wives Tales) pointed to a girl, but I am actually having a boy. It is very normal to have "no signs" probably because your a lot busier now than you were the first time around. Good luck!

I had a girl in September. I never had morning sickness or any other discomforts. I had a very healthy pregnancy. I didn't even know I was pregnant until I went to have my yearly check up :) Sometimes you just wont have signs. My friend had all signs her first pregnancy and none in second. She didn't know she was pregnant with her second until she was 6 months pregnant. she wasn't even showing and was still in a double zero.

Well every pregnancy is different however I think you are stressing a little to much.. My first pregnancy was easy... The only thing I had was waking up and vomiting and I was fine.. HELL I didn't even think I was pregnant just thought it was my sinus's.... Other then that, that's all I had with her a little bit of morning sickness.. HOWEVER, I am now 15 weeks pregnant (at least I think won't know til the ultrasound.. can't go by the period or else I'd already have it!) and I'm super sick with this one.. Boobs are huge.. nipples are huge and darkening up... they don't hurt or anything but they are big... and I'm sick all the time... morning noon or night... most of the time its night.. just relax if the heartbeat is fine.. and if everything is fine according to the doctor you'll be fine! :)

I am only 18 weeks, and I hardly got sick. At five weeks I didnt get sick at all til sometime after ten weeks. I only remember getting sick about 3 or four times.



Honestly I wouldnt of known if I never missed my period.

When I was pregnant with my son, I was sick from day one up until I was walking into the delivery room. I honestly think it makes no difference as far as boy or girl, every pregnancy in general is different. As long as you go to your appointments and they say everything is good, then I would just count yourself lucky that you don't have to suffer through 9 months of feeling like crap! I did not get sick at all with this pregnancy and I am due in 8 weeks. I wouldnt stress yourself out. By the 8th week I started feeling tired. But thats about it..lol

Everyone is different. Ive had 4 girls and they were all diff. Like right now I havent had any signs but last week I started feeling baby moving, I kno sounds crazy.. I thought I was nutz but my mom and daughters friend have all felt it and can even see it push out. Im skinny and my I do have baby belly but I have live diseaes so I thought thats y.. Because it will look big n prego then go away when my liver not doing good.. Well if i am not then i want to kno whats in me LOL going to get test today just to make sure; I havent been to sleep been gettin kicked alot all night.. Has anyone else had this happen?

I am 32 weeks with my second child, another daughter. And I never had ANY morning sickness whatsoever with either pregnancy. I didn't noticed all the signs and symptoms like I did with my first daughter, because I am SO busy now with her (and watching my nieces). I think it is normal that you're not experiencing the same signs, every pregnancy is different, even for the same person. Also, you're body has been through it once already, maybe it just isn't as noticable because it's been through it once already?

this is my first pregnancy, and i didn't find out i was pregnant until i was 6 weeks. the morning sickness didn't start for me until i was about 8wks along, but then everything made me sick. (i am having a girl) the sore boobs didn't happen until about 10 wks. since this is you 2nd pregnancy, your boby might be handling it beter this time. maybe you will be one of the lucky ones that doesn't have the morning sickness! my mom had two girls and the second pregnancy, she never had any morning sickness. don't wory, you will feel pregnant soon enough. good news is you will feel the baby move sooner this time!! lok forward to that! good luck and congrat's!

My first time being pregnant with my daughter my boobs hurt in the begining and so I thought my period was coming but nope it didnt. with my last two pregnancies my boobs never hurt. With all three of my pregnancies I never got morning sickness. The only thing that was different was the different kind of foods I could eat.. Don't listen to people when they tell you what you will or won't have based on your symptoms. That's not even remotely accurate in the way of determining your babies sex. People are just silly. =P

Anyway, I'm pregnant with my second, as well. I'm fourteen weeks along and I've barely had any symptoms at all! I didn't start having any symptoms until I was like eight weeks. I was concerned too, because with my first I knew almost instantly that I was pregnant.

if you DONT experience any morning sickness, consider yourself LUCKY. w my first pregnancy, if i felt nauseous and threw up once or twice, it was A LOT. but w this pregnancy (i'm 20 wks now), my ENTIRE second month of pregnancy was spent laying in bed or on the couch - and that's not easy to do with an 18 month old running around! Don't be surprised if the morning sickness kicks in later, rather than sooner. Also, just how sick you feel has NOTHING to do with the sex of the baby...i had little to NO morning sickness w my first and she was a girl, this time around i thought i was going to DIE i felt so sick, and it's a BOY.

pregnancy is different for everyone, im 7wks now and ive been gettin nausea, i havent thrown up once, morning sickness and nausea are just signs that the pregnancy hormone is increasing it has very little to do with the sex of the child, at times i dont even feel pregnant i actually dont think its going to sink in for me properly untill i have my scan in a few weeks i was the same with my first child i never got sick then and i had a girl. hope you feel more settled soon.

hey im around 6 weeks pregnant and i had about four days of a really bad stomach pain just in between my ribs and nauseous, which has now subsided to nauseous feeling everyday, i dont remember feeling this bad with my first (hes 3 now) but maybe i blocked it out, i know i was throwing up for 3 months with him but i dont remember all this sick feeling im getting with this one, everyones different and i dont think one symptom suggests a boy or a girl ( as im like you and dont mind either way the sex) my mum threw up all the way through with girls and 3 months with a boy (same as me) but i still think everyones different and maybe you are just lucky to not get it yet, anyways dont worry too much and if it weighs on your mind too greatly go see the doc :)

Hey Sarah. I'm 35 weeks along with my first. I had no signs or symptoms at first. If it weren't for the missed period I wouldn't have known. I didn't start to feel pregnant until my second trimester really I was kinda in disbelief until I got a sonogram.

Everyone told me it would be a boy since I wasn't getting sick, but I'm having a girl. So that's not something to go by.

I was sick the WHOLE time i was pregnant with my first...he was a boy. I got sick within the first few weeks with him. So, thats never a true tell tail factor.



I am also pregnant with my second, and i was woried the whole time. My breasts didnt get sore at all! The only pregnancy symptom i had was a lower back ache! You'll be fine! I'm now 1 month and 3 weeks away from my delivery date! No complications thus far!



And much of what you stated, is what i felt/went through. I also wanted a girl my 2nd time around! (: however, i think its a boy. ): but i guess i'll have to wait until my due date to find out! (it wont show us on ultrasounds!!!) haha.



and even with being THIS! close to my due date, i dont FEEL pregnant! i actually have FORGOTTEN i'm pregnant before with this one! so insane!

pregnancy is different for everyone. as for signs, they vary. not all signs are true. there are different ways, carrying low, lower heart beat those are signs for a boy (or so they say). high heart rates are signs for a girl. the signs dont always add up right however.

sore bbs will happen sooner or later..like i said, pregnancy isnt the same for everyone. some ppl expierence severe head aches, while othrs dont. the same for morning sickness. it can happen at ne time throughout the pregnancy, even towards the end. try not stressing because you havent had the same symptoms as your first.

i was only nauseaus in my first trimester, never got sick once...im 39 weeks now.
also, my boobs were slightly sore starting around 8 weeks, but never got too bad, they just grew a bunch around 2nd trim..never too sore though.

i wouldn't worry too much. each baby is different!

When my sister was pregnant with my nephew, she had her head in the toilet or sink morning, noon, and night! Every pregnancy is different, no matter what the gender. They are just old wives tales to keep u guessing what the baby is. It's not a big deal if u are vomiting or ur boobs arent hurting. I would consider that lucky, lol. However, if u feel like something is wrong, u can always ask ur doctor. That's what they are their for.

I didn't have any morning sickness with my daughter and barely any with my son. With this pregnancy I've been awesome as well. Maybe I'm just not prone to getting it at all...not quite sure but I'm not going to question my blessings at all! Every pregnancy is different in some way or another. I'd just count this as a very big blessing. Hopefully all goes perfectly for you!!!

It normal to not have to many symptoms at 5 weeks..The hormones are just getting started..It takes some time to get the levels up were it all kicks in..You will probably notice more and more symptoms as the weeks fly by..I found out at 5 weeks and did not have to many signs..But I am at 8 weeks and wonderin if they will all go away at 13 weeks or if I am gonna suffer this time around..

wit my first pregnancy i was the same way and i had a boy only my boobs hurt. i am also pregnant wit my second one and afriad of a miss carriage. I acutally had bleeding the other day and my fiance rushed me to the er because we were afraid of a miss carriage. we also want a girl but people are telling us it will be a boy becuase they will only be 16 months apart and our first son will be a year april 19th

wow!....well for one thing those are old wives tals..my first son had hardly any hair i had more heartburn with my first then i did second and he came out with a whole head full...my first my chest didnt hurt untill i was about 5 mnths prego my second they hurt right away...every pregnancy is diff...ur 5 mnths i wouldnt really worrie much about loosing ur past the 3 mnths stage!
remember if ur in doubt go see a doc and tell them how u feel..only u know ur body and if somethings wrong!

I'm about 9 weeks along with my second baby as well...and so far everything is different from when I had my son. With my son I never had any morning sickness until around 4 1/2 months...but this time around I've been sick all day everyday for the last 3 weeks. You may be very lucky this time around and may not have any bad symptoms :)

Thats wrong, i felt the exact same way! i still havent thrown up yet and im 21 weeks!! I found out im having a girl, all my friends said it would be a girl becasue they are easier pregnancies. So if i had to guess, i would think its a girl!! : )

I had a girl and my pregnancy was so easy! Never got sick once! Now I am pregnant with a boy and that is a different story.Every pregnancy is different! However, I find myself worrying more with my second pregnancy because it is so different than my previous. I think you are lucky!!!! Maybe we worry more just cause it is so different and we are like " hey this isnt what happened before"
