7 weeks and have really bad food poisoning from chocolate milk. Will it harm my baby?

I had drank some chocolate milk on Tuesday, and it tasted kind of bad so i threw it out not thinking much of it. the expiration date was April 15 though. Well the Thursday morning I woke up and ended up throwing up, all day until well into the night. I don't think it was the flu because my husband had the same choc. milk as me, and shortly after I started getting sick so did he. My question is though if it will harm my baby at all.

I had horrid food poisoning when I was about that far along as well. I just drank tons of water and took probiotics/acidophilus to help my tummy balance out and not feel so sick. It shouldn't harm your little one unless you cannot stay hydrated. As long as you can keep some liquid and some nutrition down without throwing up or having diarrhea really bad, it should be fine.

It has been 24 hours now, and I am just starting to keep fluids and a little bit of food down. All day yesterday, all the water I drank and the little bit of food I did get down all came back up within half an hour.

You should be fine. Make sure you replace the fluids you have lost and try and eat something as soon as you are feeling better.

I had that Happen with chinnese when i was prego with my 8 year old ....shouldnt change a thing as long as ur holding down water or sumthing at this point?
