I know what everyone might say is take a test but i would like to have some advice or so my thing is i have the IUD in (merina) sence sept 2010 and well resently i have been having some pain in my belly area as well as eating alot as i did with my other children when i was pregnant my brest are hurting more i just had my son june 2010 and i have been having my period every month i also still breast feed him so maybe thats why the pain in my breast but i wounder if i could be pregnant again im going to go ahead and take a test this weekend but just woundering if it could be something elce thanks

yes you could be pregnant and still be on birth control and breastfeeding it does happen so take the test if positive call and see a doctor asap

Pregnant while on the mirena is not good.. I think you should let your doctor know what the problems are and if it does not seem normal to your doctor then you should have a test right away and an ultrasound. Don't stress about it though until you have spoken to your doctor which you should do right away, it is probably something to do with the mirena though because the chances of falling pregnant while on the mirena are very slim you are also breastfeeding which slims the chances even more and it is rare to still have your period while pregnant also.. So you should not worry too much. I would not be surprised if you are getting pain as your body may be reacting to the mirena or because the mirena is supposed to slow down and eventually stop your period. I am not sure why your breasts would be hurting (probably do do with the breast feeding) I would be surprised if pregnancy was to be causing this especially in the early stages.
