Recently during an ultrasound I was told that I have placenta previa. My doctor has given me certain limitations, but its still pretty scary. Has anyone else had to deal with this problem before?

I'm on baby # 3 and I have had it every time. From what I understand as long as everything moves by week 30 you and baby should be fine. My first moved and I had a vaginal delivery. My second moved but I still had to have a c section with him but not b/c of the previa. I will have to have a c section with my 3rd as well. Good luck!

I had it on my first child and it corrected itself. In most cases it sorts itself out. Good luck and try not to worry.

I was told that also at the beginning of my pregnancy but I was also told that it can resolve itself which thankfully it did.

I had the same thing happen to me with my son. I went for the ultrasound and they said everything looked great, 2 days later I get a call from the doctor saying I had placenta previa and don't do this or that. I had the ultrasound at 19 wks. and had to get a second one at 26 wks. It was the longest 7 weeks of my life. However when I went back for the second ultrasound they said the placenta had migrated up the side of my uterus and everything was fine. The doctor later told me that happens very often (Info I wish he had shared before). The rest of the pregnancy went very smootly. Hope this helped.
