I feel you on the money aspect of it Haylie... you're not alone there! Seems like the closer we get to her being here, the less money we have. Def. adds to the stress.

I'm excited! Also a lil anxious about how long it may take me to "catch on" to taking care of an infant. Being the youngest child in the family, I have little experience caring for a baby.

I am going to be first time mommy in May. I am nervous but excited at the same time. I am just about 28 weeks now, just over 12 weeks to go. My hands get sweaty just thinking how close it is getting to actually having my baby. Sometimes I even cry I'm so excited and eager. I know I am going to be a good mommy and my husband is going to be a great daddy. I can't help wondering from time to time if I'll know when the baby is actually hungry or just crying for another reason. How will I know the signs? Then I think about how fun it is going to be to dress him. Ah yes, it is going to be a little boy and I really can not wait!

I am going to be a first time mom to a little girl, Arianna. I am 36 weeks and due March 17th. Im sooo anxious and excited. I can relate to all the other moms-to-be about what you are feeling. I worry every day about finances and If im going to be able to provide for my child like I want to. I am so glad that I have plenty of love and support from my boyfriend, family and friends. I worry about when she is going to come, what labor is going to feel like and if im going to know what to do once she is here. I just cant wait till my little girl is here. All this worrying is going to be soo worth it.

I'm going to be a first time mom! I'm so excited but I am just past 36 weeks and I am ready for it to be over. I love being pregnant, don't get me wrong, but when you're this far along and you've waited all this time, I just want to hold my baby. I know she'll come when she's ready but the waiting game is rediculous :)

Kayla

ps Good luck to all you new mommies!

at first i was not doing good about everything, i didnt feel ready (it wasnt planned) and i was stressed about school work money ( im a 20 year old college student) and my husband is over seas so he wont even see me pregnant,....but now at 32 weeks, im getting really anxious and excited and i just cant wait to meet him :)...but i still am dreding that first day i bring him home and havent got the foggiest idea what to do..its a little scary, but once i know what to do, im sure it will be fine

I'm going to be a 1st time mom, 2nd time around, 32weeks now ... LOL ... yes as strange as that sounds ... My "little one" turns 11 this year so it feels like being a 1st time mom & even though I've done this twice before, all the feelings you are all talking about is totally normal & I'm feeling all those things with you AGAIN ! Is my stomach smaller, where is baby lying, why can't I feel her (yes 3rd girl). In your gut you know you pregnant but I think you hear so many "horror" stories from ppl thats its easy to get sucked into the negative & as much as I try be positive, I believe its completely NORMAL (whatever normal is) If anyone wants to chat, go for it ! I love how we have been pregnant for how ever many weeks, then suddenly suspect that we "aren't" pregnant anymore, I've felt that too ... complex beings we are !!! LOL ... Good luck all !

I am expecting my first September 9, 2010 and am super excited, not nervous at all. We have been trying for this baby for years and are over the moon with excitement that we are finally expecting! I am a little worried because we are in the process of buying a new house and I plan on staying home for a while so that is a little scary but I know it will be fine! Congrats to all the first time mommies! : )

first time momma here. im at 38 weeks and 4 days, so our little girl can come at any time! at this point, it feels like ive been preggo forever! thankfully, i have had a very easy pregnancy - no morning sickness, weird cravings, excess weight gain, etc. if it wasnt for this belly i wouldnt really feel pregnant! my husband and i are both just so excited to meet her. there were a few times where i freaked out about the whole birthing thing. like, this thing actually has to come outta me!! the preggo part and the newborn part dont intimidate me as much as the labor/delivery part!! also, i have feelings of uncertainty - will we be good parents? will we raise her right? probably the same questions all the new parents have! i know that once she is here, everything will just fall into place and happen just the way it was meant to happen. :)

i'm 31 weeks, due april 24! i'm starting to stress out more because my car just broke down. my mother in law was driving in the snow- i live in colorado where weather is always crazy, and she didnt see a curb and went over it. it cracked the oil pan, made all the oil leak out, and we drove the car still because it was our only transportation due to the fact my fiances truck was still in the shop. so when you drive with out oil, it ruins the engine- completely. and fixing it would cost more than the car is worth- ah! so at least my fiances truck is ready today, but its going to be hard having a car seat in a truck. i feel its safe still, but its just going to be more difficult. but i try to stay positive. Sophie Mae, the baby in my belly, knows when i am stressed and starts to kick. i think she is just trying to remind me that she loves me and is telling me everything is going to be okay :]

I'm going to be a first time mom at age 24 in June(I'm 21 weeks). I haven't found out what I'm having yet i went last week but the baby was face down the whole time. I'm very excited and can not wait til he/she arrives. It feels like it has taken forever already, but so far I've been very lucky. I haven't been sick or have had any problems.

I am going to be 27 (maybe 28 since our little girl is due 4 days before my birthday) when our first daughter will be born. Right now, I am mostly excited and happy about everything that is going on. I get worried sometimes just thinking about whether or not everything is ok with her and if she is developing right but, other than that, the only stress is that my husband and I just bought a new house and are trying to get all the remodeling done before our daughter shows up!

I am, and I am 33 years old, I will hopefully be 34 when I give birth if everything goes well. I have been mostly scared and actually weirded out a bit by my stomach and all the little pains and things that happen, the fact that my nipples have now hurt for 18 weeks and they don't seem to be getting better. I don't have anyone really to talk to about what is going on for reasons that I won't share here, but now I am starting to get excited, but for me my biggest problem is wondering if something is going to go wrong or if something is already wrong with the baby, there is so much I don't know and it is weird because I am a bit of a know it all and in this situation I just can't know it all and I am not a big fan of faith or the lack of knowledge so I am grappling with that. I just hope that everything is ok with the baby and that I don't wuss out too much during labor. I am much more anxious than I was before about my finances as well, I just want the baby to have the best life possible, I mean really isn't that why many people wait until they are older because they feel like they are more capable of financially providing for their children. I know it all normally works out in the end, but it is the vague end that has me worried. The unknown...I think the thing I tell myself the most is that I am not the first by any means who has gone through this, so I am not as unique as I normally make myself out to be :)

I am going to be a first time mom. I am soo excited to meet my baby boy in 2 months. The only thing that stresses me is money. Trying to figure out how I am going to work and take care of the little one is tough. Luckily, I have an amazing husband who is totally in it 50/50.

I get soo nervous about money...how I am going to give her the life she deserves, the education, the exposure to the world! It' makes me super nervous because although I have a very good job I am notorious for not budgeting properly. My family has been super supportive and we are all excited to meet Kelsey!

Im going to be a first time mom in june. Im not worried about being a parent at all just because ive been around babys and kids my whole life. Im more worried about the pain of the birth. Some of my friends have told me about this drug they can use other then an epidural that supposedly works wonders. Im gonna look into it and see what I can do.

I am a first time mom, due July 4th. My husband and I just found out we are having a boy! I am nervous, mostly about money, like I'm sure everyone is! My biggest problem so far is that I have lost 25 pounds since finding out I'm pregnant. Although I am still at a healthy weight, and the baby is growing rapidly and healthily, I feel scared! There are definately some worries that i have about being a good mom and being able to handle everything and support the baby, but I know we can do it!
