I am 39 wks. pregnant and just found out today from my midwife that the reason for all the pain in my pelvic region is SPD. I am so happy that there is a name for my conditon. I have been experiencing this pain for months now. When I told people and the midwife at first about the pain I was having, it seemed like they all thought everything was fine and I was just over exaggerating the normal discomforts of pregnancy. I was wanting to hear the experiences of anyone who has dealt with this and how they gave birth whether it being c-section, vaginal delivery, or being induced.

This is my second child and I plan on getting an epidural, but worried because the epidural didn't work with my first child (who I had a great pregnancy with just a bad labor/delivery). Basically I am afraid how bad labor and delivery will be because of this horrible pain I have already especially if the epidural doesn't work again.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

I have never heard of this but i do have very bad vaginal pain i am only 20 weeks along. It starts hurting alot when i walk. Also when i sleep it hurts to. It kinda feels like a burning bruise feeling it like right on my pubic bone and around my vaginal parts. Any thoughts?

I the same thing. It was awful, everything hurt. I started going to the chiropractor and it was amazing! The pain is totally gone.

I know exactly what you are dealing with !!! I am 38 wks with my second and I feel like someone ran me over with a bus!! (my first pregnancy also went great, no sickness, no pelvic pain, no swelling) ....also my first epidural did not work...ill be having a vaginal delivery and I do have a concern that something my "pop" out of place or something but i am just hoping for the epidural to work this time around.
