you can rinse your sinuses with saline and see if that helps if not call your doctor and ask them what you can take

The sinus rinses are definitely a good option. I'm finally over a second sinus infection in a month, so I can relate to what you are saying. I talked with my high risk OB the other day about it and asked him what I could take and he said that Sudafed was fine to take. There is some controversy about taking a decongestant so I would ask your doctor their opinion. I also went to my accupuncturist for help and he told me that my diet is key. He said to eat a "warm" diet referring to eating with the winter season. On the list he gave me it says to focus on animal protiens, ground/root vegetables, beans (kidney, lima, etc), whole grains and for fruits apples, strawberries, and dried fruits. Avoid milk, yougurt and ice cream, tropical/citrus fruits, juices, sodas...just think about what is in season. He also told me to drink room temp or warm beverages. I have really noticed a difference. I hope that you are feeling better soon!

you can rinse your sinuses with saline. I know it sounds gross but it works. put 1/4 tsp of salt in a cup of warm water and squirt some in your nostril with a bulb syringe while tilting your head back. wait about 30 seconds and then lean your head forward and blow your nose. Let all of the water run out and then repeat in the other side. It feels a little wierd but I can breathe sooooo much better afterwards. You can do it 2-3 times a day if needed until the congestion is gone.
