best crib mattress???

Which crib mattress would you recommend? I still can't decide on which one would be the best for my newborn. Thanks!

get one made from natural materials like a cotton/coconut fiber stuffed futon, or natural latex. Theres reasearch that suggest that the fumes that come off synthetic mattresses (foam etc) are one cause of SIDS - which is why babys are more prone to dying if laying on their tummies, as they breath in more of the chemicals.

I found the best mattress for us was one that had more than 150 spring coils.
(I think the one we got was a Sealy Posture-Pedic with 204 coils.. i'll double check when I can get up, lol)

It's great for newborns and when he/she grows out of the crib, or gets heavier, the coils will distribute the weight better and support their sleep as they get older. Which makes it a great mattress to carry over into a toddler bed when they're ready for it :)
