I had my 32 week appt with my doctor yesterday and she told me she was concerned about my blood pressure being higher then it normally is. She told me to go home and relax for the weekend and no working. Has anyone else had this and had their blood pressure return to normal after? I'm a little nervous that this could turn into something serious.

With my first pregnancy, I had high blood pressure a couple times, but it did go away after I had the baby.
With this pregnancy, I've had high blood pressure the whole time. (I'm 34 weeks.) They started out by putting me on bedrest to see if that would help, but it didn't so I got put on medication as well. It came down for awhile, but is slowly starting to creep back up.
Whatever you do - listen to your doc's orders! I've made myself familiar with the signs and symptoms for preeclampsia just in case and I suggest you do the same.
Wow! This sounds kind of bossy! lol. But high blood pressure can bring on scary things and it's always best to be prepared, right? :) I honestly hope everything works out well for you and your BP goes back to normal soon!

Dont worry because that will only make it go higher!!!! High blood pressure happens but youve just got to relax. I suggest a spa day or something equally tranquil. If you dont get it back down it could turn into preeclampsia and they may need to deliver you asap so you really need to calm down and let that baby cook as long as possible

If it was terribly serious, the Dr would have started you on a medication. So I think you should try to take the attitude that you trust your Dr and relax. Follow her instructions and continue to enjoy your pregnancy to the fullest.
Your blood pressure rise may have been because of the weather, or maybe you had a higher salt intake that day.
Lastly, drink lots of fluids that don't contain caffeine. I suspect your B/P will return to normal. Take timeout to rest and relax.:)
