I went for my Rhogam shot this morning, i'm 28 weeks pregnant with my second child. and had to get a type and screen test done yesterday before i was given the shot. i walked in the hospital registered for the shot and 5 minutes later was hauled aside and told i am not to get the rhogam shot and i had to get more bloodwork done asap, the other hospital called that i had the bloodwork done at yesterday. They would not give me any answers and i was just after having a glucose drink and they wouldnt even let me wait for the bloodwork for that i got rushed right into a room and had to have 3 vials taken on me, not the small ones either and then was told to go home. They wouldnt even tell me if everything was ok or if something showed up or if they didnt have enough blood or anything. I am really worried because i know i have o negative blood and my fiancee has A positive and that i need this shot. Has anyone else had this happen and if so can you help me? i am freaking right out because i dont know what is going on and why i did not get the needle i was supposed to
