I am 32 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing a horrible burning. Why does my skin under my breast burn so bad? It is real sensitive to touch of clothes and when I stretch, it feels as though the area of pain on the inside is being stabbed with needles. It feels to burn inside the skin and outside with no way of relief. It seems to be getting stronger, worse, and more consistent. I have thought at first maybe it was the skin stretching but it is inside and outside that I feel this pain all day long. I even tried lotions and cocoa butter but with no relief still. If any one has any suggestions or has experienced this please let me know. Thanks for the help

The burning isn't on my breast, it is under my closer to my bra line but between my navel and breast. I have been trying a cotton sports bra but am still having a lot of pain. It is a very weird pain and is very hard to pinpoint because a lot of time it feels internal but then when I rub the skin it feels like its burning on the surface. Its very confusing and doesn't seem normal. I guess my best bet would be just to talk to my doctor at my next visit. Yes it is at the top of my belly. And thank you for letting me know about the preclamsia, I haven't had any irregular swelling though that preclamsia causes but it could still be a possibility. Just in my hands a little and I sometimes have migraines but they aren't so often now. Thanks for the advice! Thank you both!!!

Is it at the top of your belly....Drs. say if you have pain at the top of your belly it can be a sign of Preclamsia.....Do you have any swelling in your hands and face or severe headaches? Just a thought. I would call your Dr.and ask to see what he says. Never hurts to ask!

Try wearing a bra made from a softer material, like cotton.

The itching is from your breasts growing, and Rubbing lotion will generally help. Even though it doesn't help for everyone.

It's nothing to worry about, although it can be very uncomfortable & irritating.

Sometimes pregnancy isn't very glamorous.
