So I have a friend who said that when she was about to go into labor she felt like she had the flu and to watch for that sign. I'm 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant and randomly got a bad cold. Is feeling like you have the flu or a cold a real sign that labor is near?

I am 29 weeks 3 days today and I got a really bad cold a few weeks ago, and still suffering from it, and went to my check up on Wednesday and everything is fine, no labor yet.

It's different for everyone, but I didn't feel like that. I just got the urge to organise and clean, and got moody.

Not for me. Although if you get the flu or a cold it can bring on labor early if the baby's ready to come out. A lady at work had her little girl 4 weeks early because she got the flu pretty bad. Me on the other hand had a cold about when I was due but I still didn't give birth till 2 weeks after my due date.
